Nah. He's not really good at anything.

Ouch. Hamilton at least had the redeeming quality of doing a lot of charity work for those in need. He really should've managed a charity instead of an AD tho.

McGarity was really good at being Jeremy Foley's sidekick, basically.

The new UGA OC will have a pretty experienced OL, a pair of outstanding freshmen RBs, a good TE, a good WR to make the #1 and some young QB talent to choose from.

UGA will have a ton of great options to choose from at OC. I can't imagine why anyone would think otherwise.

On top of that you are learning from a coach who has a proven track record of having great offenses, and you also know that you can be chosen for a HC position. I really think that there will be a lot of offensive-minded coaches who would love the opportunity to coach under Richt, but we will find out in the upcoming weeks.

What type of candidate Georgia attracts will depend a lot on how much control Richt is willing to give that coach

Richt will give them control. The real issue is whether the AD will pony up more than $500K.

I'm skeptical but we'll see what the process surfaces. I'll gladly eat crow if UGA hires a stud.

Yup, they had no connections before he was hired an he was the only reason he made it through the whole season without quitting

Y'all gonna pay Rodney $1.1 million(signed thru Feb. '17) to get Tracey back with all the other buyout money you're paying??

Assuming UGA is willing to pay a competitive salary it seems like a very good place to land if you're an OC with aspirations of eventually being a head coach.

UGA is a premiere program. The head coach has been stable. The university is solid. The state has a rich recruiting base to draw on... there aren't too many things to find flaws with IMO.
