The difference is not having to worry about a running QB

LSU will be able to handle an O similar to there own

So we're drawing our conclusions from last week's game and no one saw the Georgia "effort" against only the northern part of Texas?

The Les Miles is not nearly the coach you think he is. If he did that, then he sure knew how to make the game look REAL close.

The UGA North Texas game was closer than the LSU Auburn game

Obviously YOU didn't see the effort. Georgia gave up 7 total rushing yards and the defense gave up 7 points. But, we wouldn't want to mess your logic up with...well....logic, would we?

Oh. And N. Texas can only recruit from the northern part of Texas? Does that mean that LSU does not recruit from outside of Louisiana? You don't know much about college football, do you?

Games a toss up to me. Middle defense looked pretty awful for LSU but the offense put it on cruise control in the second half due to 'burns poor offensive showing in the 1st half.

Young DB's for LSU are going to have to ball out--I think they have the talent but they will have to make the jump from talent to doing it on the field.
Offense for LSU is still holding back--I know it doesn't seem possible--just don't know how much.

This game is HUGE for both teams--imo whoever wins will win the SEC. Can't wait--UA,A&M,USCe and Ole Miss have good teams--SEC is still in good hands.

He just has the butt hurt because LSU was good enough to where we could stop caring after the 1st half, while UGA still had to fight the entire game.

He's definitely the coach I think he is. Last night the second half was a prime example of why he is so exasperating, but..

He's still better than Richt and runs a great program.

No. It wasn't.

One kickoff return and a blocked punt cost Georgia 14 points.

N. Texas scored 7 on the Georgia defense and ran for a total of 7 rushing yards. So, it was not a s close as the score would seem. However, you guys were playing a better team.

My opinion has not changed about the game. It could be anybodys game. Could go either way. Probably high scoring. We'll know next Saturday.

Will not get into a back and forth. my dad is in the hospital and I have to go stay in the hospital with him, so I won't have internet access. If this thread is still handy when I get back home,. I will be glad to address any arguments.

UGA still hasn't hired a special teams coach?
Cause I remember last time LSU played UGA, special teams is what got LSU's victory run started.

Perhaps I am. But there is not a good coach out there that quits caring and coasting at halftime of a 21-7 game. If he does, he doesn't know what he is doing. But thanks for the insightful argument. I love it when people argue with facts and stats instead of wishing others would kill themselves. You are obviously a very intelligent person worthy of talking to.

No way, UGA special teams are horrendous - LSU scores at least 1 if not 2 TDs on STs alone. UGA's Defense is also too young and Mett is playing lights out. Vegas has it -3 for the Dawgs which sounds about right in Sanford.

Agreed, line is what I predicted. Should be a great game. Looking forward to my first trip to Athens.

You're talking about the same UGA that was tied with North Texas at halftime

Using that logic, you could make an argument that North Texas is better than Auburn

To be fair, everyone's offense took a step down when they faced LSU except for maybe West Virginia.

Apparently Special Team and Defensive TDs don't count or are meaningless in Georgia games - didn't you get that memo?
