I wonder if Notre Dame will manage to get a first down? Thoughts?

Y'all sure have an abundance of confidence, for a team coming off a mediocre 8-5 season. With losses to Ga. Tech and Vandy at home.

Ok. Serious question. How many of those true freshman in that great recruiting class for UGA are going to start day 1? An educated guess is all I'm asking for.

Day 1, like against app state?

one for sure (hayes, lt), potentially two (wilson, rt)

not sure where the narrative comes from that we think we're going to be contending for a title or anything. We expect (rightfully) so to be in contention for the east, which isn't really saying much. 10 wins is a realistic expectation. I don't see what's so crazy about that.

Well most coaching staffs see a giant jump from year 1 to year 2 so...

Also our 5 star QB will now have a year of SEC play under his belt, as well as reasons to always be on his toes with Fromm coming in behind him now. Chubb, Michel, and Co are all back this year, and our offensive line can only improve from the shite show they were last year.

On defense we only lose Maurice Smith and the contributions in nickel and dime sets from Quincy Mauger (RIP to that OG wood layer).

So I don't think it's too terribly wrong to be hopeful as a Georgia fan.

Considering what Notre Dame looked like last year and the fact UGA is returning 17 starters, that they had a true freshman qb, lost 3 games by less than 3 points and return one of, if not the best rb tandem in the country. Its not a stretch.

Damn that's a great match up.

Looking forward to visiting Athens this year for our game. I've got a buddy thats from Athens and he's been trying to get us to come visit for a while and now I'll finally get the opportunity and i'm pumped. It should be a great game

and we're not bringing Nickoe Whitley this time who peed in the hedges when we played in Athens last

I wouldn't be "shocked" either, nobody really knows how we'll be next year since it's game 2.

Wouldn't shock me if we won by 3 TDs either.

Notre Dame was not good last year and they're not brining much back this year. There is no excuse if we lose.
