He is a tech fan...you know they come out of hiding and talk shite when they beat UGA once every 10 years.

Let them have their time, it only comes once a decade

I understand. And I don't mind a poke at us from time to time. They earned it. But, to say the ND QB is better than eason because of measurables just seems silly. I'm curious what kind of measuables he is talking about?

Arm Strength? Eason has great arm strength.
Height? Eason is 6'5"
He was rated #1 Pro Style QB in the nation last year.
He has a full year of experience.

Wimbush is 6'1"
Was #3 Dual Threat QB
Threw a total of 5 passes TWO years ago...none last year.

Measureables?

I usually feel very, very bad going into big OOC games to start the season. (NC, Clemson, etc)
But, for some reason, I feel really good about ND. You might prove to be right, (As we do seem to get very, very bad breaks) but I still think we represent against ND.

I feel like the returning players are gonna be hyped up to show everyone just how different 2017 will be. On top of that the new recruits that will play will be sky high on emotions.

Off the top of my head, they lost to Mich St, Stanford, VT, and Duke(!) at home in 2016

And Navy. The Irish mystique is completely gone now. The only people fooled by them now is the media.

Sorry. Navy was not at Notre Dame. The only home games they won was against Nevada and Miami.

I promise you the media will make Notre Dame sound like Nebraska from the 90's, but don't buy the hype. They aren't going to be as talented as UGA, just on paper maybe. It is just the Notre Dame hype machine.

I actually want the media to hype them up. It will make us look better when we beat them

My wife has given me the green light to go. I just don't know if I want to spend all that money on travel and lodging (I'm coming from Utah).

Will be going and will certainly be bringing some back. Also will probably hit pipeworks among others in Chicago the week before.

For those of you who said that you already have tickets sorted out, how (current season ticket holders at UGA?) Don't have season tix so will likely have to purchase on aftermarket and looks like ticket allotment doesn't come out until summer? Also, for anyone going to Chicago beforehand, taking the bus? Driving in? Still working out deets on my end but have a few friends that are going to go with me so need to start ironing things out.
