Looking forward to it, I'll always go to oxford because it's one of those matchups that we rarely get anymore after the reformatting of the SEC schedule around 2003.

Rebs, how much (and how) has your campus changed since 11? I went that year and 06 as well, always had a good time.

UGA loses but then, any coach is a plus over Mark R. Just telling the truth

UG won't be able to keep up with the best offense in the SEC this early in the season. I would be more worried if we played later in the season. But since we play them so early I feel good.

With Kelly coming back for Ole Miss, I think the black bears win this game easily, particularly early in the season. Ole Miss has plenty of returning offensive talent and I don't think uGa can match ole miss point for point in a high scoring game.

Should be a great early season game though.

Did Ole Miss lose most of their talent?

not at all. Ole Miss will have the most potent offense in the SEC this season. Can UGA keep up on the scoreboard with a true freshman QB will be what decides the game. someone already said it...but I like our chances.

I don't think Eason ends up starting that early.

I like the "we're not the Rebels" to win this one. They return a good chunk of their offense and should be very dangerous to start the season.

My concern, if I was an Ole Miss fan, is that a couple of times a year Freeze seems prone to having a complete meltdown in the red zone. If it happens against a team with the talent of Georgia it could easily come back to bite Ole Miss.

Your best OL, Wr, DL at the very least. Unsure about your Lb and db.

LB and Safety are the concern for sure. I think people will be surprised just how easily RN will be replaced.

Greg Little will be thrown into the fire and expected to hold serve which I fully expect him to do.

Treadwell will be missed. No doubt. I do think OM has the most talented WR room in the SEC, however, and the production will be spread around.

Excellent analysis. Thanks for the breakdown. You are still a dipshit, btw.

LF7 was third on your team in catches last season with 19... Diarse and Quinn have both transferred... So thanks to cfbstats you can make the argument and then immediately lose said argument.

The stadium itself will have a new north endzone with renovations/additions to the south endzone as well. The new basketball facility (Pavillion) sits adjacent to the football stadium.

The area around the stadium will be much more appealing than it was for your last visit in 2011.

Ok. And your point? Your argument is based off last season throwing out the fournette stat in which you lose 2/4 of your top receivers including an elite once every 5 year sec talent....both teams have a lot of talent at receiver, no doubt. But to act like your top 3 in Quincy A, Pack, and Stringfellow are head and shoulders above Dupree, Dural, and Johnson is silly.

I for one will not. Super athletic kid, but rarely seemed to be a difference maker in the games I watched... I'm sure he got every DC's best shot, but still, largely invisible in a good chunk of games.

So you expect a TFR QB to struggle, but not a TFR OT? Solid plan.

Were I Ole Miss, I wouldn't be too concerned at WR either. Lot of depth at that position for you it seems like... and they're all fricking huge.

I expect this to be one of UGA's likely losses, but I think we've got a chance to sneak out with a win. Agreed that if it were later in the season, I'd feel a lot better about it for us... that early it's likely either a time share between Lambert and Eason, or just Lambert (even worse)... I don't see Kirby wanting to throw Eason into the starting seat like that unless he just has a magical start to the year and shows well at Mizzou. Not banking on that happening though.

Someone else commented on the redzone struggles that Freeze's teams have had and I think that would open the door up for a UGA win for sure...

I said Little would "hold serve," not be a unanimous All American.

You should really stick to your prescription regimen to keep those Tunsilitis flares in check.

I actually think the offensive line is going to be better than last year's as a whole. Maybe "early" in the season, but you guys are 4 weeks in and after we play Alabama. I am sure they will be well aware of how to play after playing Alabama. Georgia isn't bringing ANYTHING near what satan's bunch is, or FSU.

I honestly don't know if this game will be close.

41-17 Rebs. It will be fun hanging out with the UGA people though, it's been a while since that has happened.

With Kirby, I agree. I'll say 31-17... Unless Chubb is back to his usual self. Then I'll worry haha
