Not really, no one I know has ever wanted it to change. The AJC might occasionally try to stir shite up (like usual) and be like "Should UGA/UF move to home and home!?!?" but nobody actually wants it to. Playing in Jax has no bearing on us winning or losing.

I have always enjoyed Jacksonville.

Then again, I am 4-1 and undefeated in regulation in Jacksonville (2010 being the only loss I've experienced)

Im not a fan of either team, but I live about 30 miles from Jacksonville and never want to see it change.

Ive been about 10x in the last 25yrs and OMG its a blast.

My dad lives on SSI so Ive spent many a Ga-Fl weekend barhopping.
Even for a non fan of the teams, it should be experienced by all sec fans.
week long party FTW

The Florida Times Union prints the same thing, every now and then.

Honestly, any Georgia fan that wants to move it either A) didn't go to UGA or B) has never been to WLOCP.

I'm of the opinion that we should be allowed to bring recruits to that game. I know logistics would be a nightmare trying to host away from your stadium and town, but that's one of the best atmospheres i've ever been in. Love the WLOCP

i agree. it really is the fans who never go or, i'm sorry to be THAT guy, those who just aren't real fans. if, as a georgia fan, you can't see why it has to stay in JAX then you just don't get it. it drives me nuts when people bitch about this. we've played it in jax for-fuggin-ever, idk why they want to whine. and the worst ones are those who say lets rotate atlanta and jax. umm, what? what is the point of that? ruins the tradition and if we do that we may as well just go to home and home.

i mean idk if any non-uga fans or those not living in the area will get that rant but those fans drive me nuts. it's always the georgia fan who can tell ya like aaron murray and jarvis jones and no one else from the team who go on to bitch about how unfair it is UGA plays in JAX. get over it, watch the frat beach video, and if ya still don't like it then chug drano you damn commie.

ETA: and these ingrates are not at all a majority or even that vocal of a minority if ya ask me. it's as WG said, just AJC stirring up the few, the proud, the ignorant

I don't think the majority of UGA fans ever wanted it moved. Those that go and are part of the weekend understand how special it is.

#impressed

All this to decide the second best team in the SEC East?

Seems excessive.

nah, it was definitely just one of our bitchier contingents. from what i've seen it's mostly old people who hate to drive and don't partake in the festivities and then idiots.

Jacksonville is a shithole and it is a home game for Florida.

The best road trip every year, no matter the outcome. The electricity in the city can be felt driving in.

Go down on Wed night and leave Sunday. So many things to do and we have been tailgating with the same Florida fans for 10 years. We have a UGA/FLA beer pong championship and have even made our own trophy to give out each year...

Awesome atmosphere inside the stadium.

If your a Dawg fan who has never been, I recommend saving some extra change and making the trip. For those that drive down Saturday morning and leave right after the game, your missing out on one hell of a week.

Honestly, it is pure unadulterated bliss until you see the team buses pull into town and it's like the mood of the party scene stops on a dime. Things get tense, serious. My hair stands on end. You know that in a couple of hours nearly 100,000 inside the stadium and thousands more around those two states are about to be in gut-wrenching agony, the payoff for which is one of the better feelings you will ever have. There is nothing quite as sweet as marching down the stadium ramps and into the Jacksonville night with your bulldog or gator brethren and letting the whole fricking world know that you are on top of the world.

Very well said, I got pumped just reading that.

One of the things I'm gonna miss most about being in school is getting loaded up on Thursday night and waking up at the crack of dawn on Friday to make the trek to SSI and raise hell on the beach. I will NOT miss being hungover as frick and having to make the drive back up miserable I-16, but I reckon it's a small price to pay.

Yes it's a great scene, but I wouldn't mind a home and home once a decade to further stir the shite. Perhaps have it in between the hedges on the 0's and in the Swamp on the 5's. The 4 games in between would be in Jax.

It was soooo much fun the last time this happened, eh doggies?

Don't want it to change. It's a great experience to go to Jacksonville for the WLOCP. Only downside for Georgia fans is the long arse drive but other than that no complaints.

Agreed, they even had an article asking if Clean Old Fashioned Hate should be dropped if the SEC goes to 9 conference games while completely ignoring the fact that the more obvious scenario would be for us to drop an OOC cupcake game.

Yeah, I think the people who would want it to rotate are the ones who have never experienced it.

I wonder what can be done to improve the Bacon and Ags "southwest classic"?

Yall don't understand how media works. You could all probably do their jobs 10x better than them, you think.
