His logic isn't necessarily flawed - it's just pointless.

You can say UF had a harder schedule, but you can also say UF got LSU at home & Jizz Johnny in his first game ever. True, UF beat the only team Bama lost to, but if Bama beats UGA it's a wash. Fact is UF, UGA, & Bama are 11-1 & in that scenario someone is gonna get the shaft. If UF had lost to LSU & beat UGA we would not be having this conversation.

Maybe Florida is better than Bama. We'll never know bc they lost to the wrong team. DWI

One the rankings of Florida and Bama. Two OK state lost to an unranked team second to last game of season. Three Bama lost to the number one team by three pts in OT. Bama benefitted by virtue of LSU being number one and remaining that way. Florida lost to a team that is number three. Each season and the games that are played are different year to year and you can't paint each season with the same broad brush. The BCS is set up to put one versus two not best conf champs. Bama was easily the best team last year simply because our offense was far more balanced than LSU. If Florida and Georgia were one and two and the game was as close and Georgia was sitting at one and Florida at three assuming Bama loses the seccg then Florida would go as numbe trek and we would have the same situation as last yr. as it is ND is one and there is no way to get Florida in. Had ND lost to USC then it would be Bama or Ga vs Florida with the exact same situation. Bama has benefitted from the rules that are in Place and I don't see why lSU fans have such a hard time seeing this.

Why is that funny dude? You lost to A&M and got outplayed at LSU. Those are the only two ranked teams you played all year (and no Michagan doesn't count).

Okie State lost to an unranked Iowa State team that went 6-6.
And Alabama lost in OT to the #1 team in the nation.

LSU didn't get screwed. They went on to play in the national championship game. LSU then went on to lose the game. Don't blame the system if LSU couldn't get it done.

This year or last? LSU got screwed last year by a set of ridiculous logic and UF is getting screwed this year applying reverse logic.

Alabama benefits in both situations? Don't see the issue here Gump? Not surprising.

How the hell did LSU get screwed over last year? You were the #1 team in the nation, you went undefeated in your conference and had made it to the BSCNC game with the best record LSU has ever had. You got to play the BCSNC game in your own backyard. So, how the hell did y'all get screwed?

They're saying LSU got screwed because they had to play Alabama again and they knew they were going to get destroyed. Which they did by the way.

I think you're more worried than mad. You realize that there's the distinct possibility that LSU reached the zenith of it's football potential in December of 2011, and is slowly descending back to a position along side Auburn as an also ran. You blame Alabama.

didn't read thread but OP logic = flawed

2011 - the SEC champ made NC and the last spot was between an OSU who won their conference and had 1 loss and a Bama who only lost 1 game also.

2012 - ND makes it because they are undefeated. 2nd spot is the winner of SEC championship.

situations would only be similar if ND had lost a game.
