UF S&C: any news on hires?

UF's new S&C guy has apparently left after 5 weeks on the job, to go to Boston College. Apparently he is really good friends with BOB who got the BC job, and that's why he left. Any news on replacement candidates?
Will this pretty much sink UF's off-season S&C program or is this a pretty minor interruption, assuming a quality hire is made?

Pretty sure this proves the program is cursed and really takes any optimism for next year away. Not like there was a ton in the first place with our schedule.

I just read about this and was looking for a topic on it. As an LSU fan I dislike Florida but how the frick do you lose someone to the same position at Boston College? Insane how fast this program has been run into the ground.

Eh, he has followed O’Brien everywhere. I don’t think he was leaving UF for BC as much as leaving a probable one year under Napier for BOB and a lot more job security.
Just sucks for us because Napiers previous S&C coach was terrible (just look at Desmond Watson who still weighs over 400 pounds). And this guy had promise and a good pedigree. S&C coaches basically run the offseason for the team, and this was an especially important offseason for us. Now those plans have a huge wrench thrown in them.
And that terrible former S&C coach? Napier kept him on staff in some very ambiguous position but still on the payroll. It’s a joke.

If he's got a good relationship with O'Brien, COMBINED with the fact that Fla may be cleaning house soon, it sounds like a good time to jump.

I heard the guy is a restless hopper, from one school to another and never stays in one place long. Hearing optimism from a UGA fan may not be something you Gator fans are used to, but you might be better off without this fella. Just a thought.
