Acreage-wise UF isn't that much bigger than many SEC schools, but UF has many more buildings on campus, so we don't have nearly the green space as others. For comparisons sake, both UF and LSU have 2,000 acre campuses, but UF has over 950 buildings to LSU's 250.

While BR did have a 60 more murders than Gainesville in 2012, it's not the murder capital. Close, but not the captial.
BR murder rate per 100,000 = 28.5
