Although it is not a measurable that is a big issue it does matter when pushing and shoving are a part of the game in the NFL. They make the DB's do the lift for a reason. May not hold as much weight as the Vertical, shuttle and so forth, but it matters.

If he does 16, I hope he adds to his chest tat.

Holy shite I bet none of you neckbeards in here could get 225 once.

I can get it a couple of times. I used to do 4 sets of 4 with 225.

i do chest and triceps on mondays. my warmup set on bench is 225 12 times. i only weigh 180. i'm white and i never played D1 football.
anyone playing D1 football and only able to do 4 reps has serious laziness when it comes to training

Yea I'm sure people that workout can get it. But to talk shite about that dude reps is dumb as shite. repping 225 for 4 reps at his size is actually really good.

Doesn't matter he is still a good football player.

What does being white have to do with your bench press? Do black people do better at lifting? White people are usually powerlifters.

I've rarely worked out since high school. I worked out for 3 weeks straight a couple of months back and was able to get back to where I could get 225 twice. I'm only 5'9" 175

No way in hell you only weigh 175
Posted on 2/25/13 at 5:21 pm to Captain Insano
AJ and kickers cannot do 15, i dont know about manziel though.

You're most likely correct. However, most are not elite athletes auditioning for a NFL career. He has baggage and I would expect someone in his shoes would have come in more prepared to open some eyes. Kid has talent and will get picked up by someone. No need to knight for the Honey Badger bruh.

Same size as Tyrann almost.
He will be fine, that dude plays so above his size and strength its absurd. He is a giant on the field and the most clutch defensive player I've ever seen in person.

I haven't weighed myself in a while and you're probably right

Well to be fair, he's been training for months on his speed and agility. I know this because I follow him on instagram and see the pictures daily
However, maybe he should've done a little more weight lifting in that time

Shite. Bama's kicker Cade Foster maxed 455 over the summer the same day that Jesse Wiliams did 600.

That's good to hear and I think he is a stud especially for his size. LSU needed a TM last year. His play on the field always seemed to fire up the team.
