I think Bray has some great abilities, but also has some major flaws. He looks like a wet noodle when he runs. His pocket presence is still up for questioning. He also seems to make 3 or 4 just careless throws that could go either way in a game. One pick 6 could change any game. I will agree his arm strength and touch, and check downs to 2nd and 3rd receiver are impressive, I just am not ready to start talking like hes a elite QB just yet. He needs some big wins under his belt first

I agree I think he can become great but I want him to play against some stout competition before I anoint him. He still makes bad throws and has really not played against a great defense.

Another thing to his credit is he's only a Sophomore...

Hunters and Rogers are probably the top receiving combo in the nation. Bray sometimes throws into too tight of spots though

glad you took my advise. Clearly I was hoping you would see my post and really, really, want to be my friend.

The guy was a part time starter last year, is very young but has come out of the gate blazin' and leading the SEC. I don't blame UT fans at all for wanting to talk about it and post his highlights...they ought to feel pretty optimistic about the kids future and future opponents ought to take notice. The guy wasn't propping him for the heisman...you got all defensive like this was a direct attack on Brantley and the jort nation. That's your problem.

It's just rare that a passing team wins consistently in the SEC. YOU MUST RUN THE BALL.

I'm not sure they can do that.

What's weird is that UT is near the top in the SEC in TOP even with being pass happy. I haven't seen UT play but I'm assuming there's a lot of short passing because of the high completion percentage.

It will be interesting to see how Quinn and Muschamp end up blitzing and stunting which we didn't do much of in the first two games.

We need pressure to rattle Braysus and get him to make some mistakes.

The crowd will be crazy so that's going to help. The Swamp is going to be LOUD!

Does UT have a back-up QB? Why was Bray still in the game late in the 4th qtr? Seems a little risky to me.

You could say that about Drew Brees too...but he knows his weapons and their ball skills.

The back up QB made the mistake of looking into Bray's eyes during the half. He was then temporarily blinded by greatness for the next 5 and half hours.

He already has. All I need to do is look at his highlights and tears come forth like a thousand year flood.

And that's just film. When I witness him first hand in Gainesville this weekend I will be wearing my polarized sunglasses, because he may cause my eyes to bleed.

You need to just come to terms with the fact that our Bray is an awesome Bray

How's 2010 pre-season Heisman champion Brantley coming along this year? Also, can you think of a player in SEC history that was as hyped, and shite the bed like Brantley? I have seen some disappointments but being hyped to win the Heisman and then being the worst player at your position in the conference...that is pretty choke-tastic right there.

WTF does 2010 have to do with this season?

We sucked last year. It's not last year though.

Brantley has looked much better. That's all we can ask for after the non-sense from 2010.

I don't remember if Brantley was on any Heisman watch lists but I do remember the preseason hype. For lots of reasons, it didn't pan out.

1st I still sense a little hostility in your posts. Not sure why, I just really like Tyler Bray, and am a believer in his powers.

2nd. Brantley has been a pretty big let down thus far. I will completely admit it. He just doesn't have the it factor, but I am hoping Weis can just have him manage the game and not do anything stupid much like the Alabama system does for their QBs.

If we had Bray we would be 2-0 right now and would be the favorites over UT by at least 70 points.

By the way, I still often lie awake at night and wonder what could have been, if Cam wasn't a thief, academic cheater, and could have stayed at UF. We might have won another title.

Instead we had to let him go, Auburn paid good money for him and the rest is history. Oh well huh?

I think Bray has been over hyped a bit but Rogers and Hunter are the real deal. They are athletic freaks and it will be hard for any team to contain them.

It's a proven fact that believing everything that ATPB has accused Cam and Auburn of, is a very strong symptom of being a butthurt bitch douchnozzle. It's not 100%, but pretty close.

Sorry you think UT fans being excited about Bray is a joke..there were many haters with egg on their face after having the same attitude regarding Cam.
