Did someone say Memphis?

Oh the irony coming from an Ole Miss fan.
Why would LSU not be one to be respected? Unlike Ole Miss, LSU HAS actually done it on the field, not just on the message boards. In the last 15 years, LSU has won 4 SEC Championships and 5 West Championships, with 2 National Titles and another NC game appearance. There is a lot of football left to be played this year...but they are on track to add to at least some of those numbers. In addition, I haven't looked at the numbers, but I would think since the turn of the century, that LSU has won more games that probably any other team in the SEC....maybe the nation....I could be wrong here, just throwing that out off the top of my head.
Meanwhile, what has Ole Miss done in the last half century? Yet, you guys beat your chest as if you are some elite program, year after year....it's a joke...as is your stadium, and your entire sports program.

You really think Miles is gonna out coach Saban ? Cause Bama is more talented than your Tigers so your coaches probably have to out coach their staff... Kevin Steele is your DC.
I realize that this is a troll attempt by an ole miss fan that has saw their dreams of a national title disappear for the 55th consecutive year, far to early in the season....however.

Let's elaborate on that a little.
Offensive Line- By far LSU
QB - big advantage LSU
WR's - advantage LSU
RB - LF
Defense......I will even try and be objective and give bama an edge there...but the fact is that LSU has several future first rounders there as well, and are a top 20 defense in the nation and are strong against the run...which is bama's strength...in addition, the return of Mills cannot be understated and he will be 100%. Both have given up just a little over 20 a game in conference play......
Special teams, I know bama fans try and argue us, but they have the advantage here...just hopeful no huge blunders in the game.
The offense of LSU is the biggest difference, imo, as compared to the offense of Bama.
But hey, troll away...it's your thing.

We will play 5 corners and 6 mean motherfrickahs. That's what bama will play.

LF hopes so...lol...and if this were true, I bet those corners aren't very happy about the prospects of meeting up with LF. That's not a shot at bama's corners....I'd say that about any corners.

wow....actual objectivity. You know there is concern when that happens.
I honestly believe that LSU is the more complete team. Bama has the EDGE on defense, but LSU has a good defense, and especially against the matchup that bama will present.
I think LSU has a significantly better offense.
Like you, I wouldn't be shocked if it went either way...but I honestly feel pretty confident that LSU actually has the better team. How that shakes out you never know.
All fair points, but I believe Alabama's ST have come on strong the past few weeks, giving us the edge there. Adam is 10 of his last 12, JK Scott has thrown off early season doldrums and averaged nearly 50 yards per punt yesterday. The SEC's top returner was held in check, and Drake had really good KO returns.
Edges:
Offense - LSU
Defense - Alabama
Special Teams - Alabama
Coaching - Even
If LSU's offensive edge is greater than our two edges, they'll win.

Definitely my favorite game of the year. Both teams always bring their A game into this one.

I'd say QB is an advantage, for sure. OL is certainly, as is RB. WR, though, I doubt it. Probably closer to a push.
That said, why break down the OL units but drop the defense down like a single unit?
DL - Alabama significant edge
LB - Alabama significant edge
DB - Alabama edge

This, however, is very true - especially how good they've looked the past few games. LSU may have to work from within a hole all night, while we end up with better average field position. Ultimately, that may end up being the difference - we win but with fewer yards gained because LSU had longer fields than Alabama does.

To quote Trump, the advantage Bama has here is, "yuuuuuuuuge!" ST for LSU is our biggest liability this year, and if BDP costs LSU a win with more piss poor ST play, he's going to need a security detail.

1. Alabama doesn't get called for holding.
2. The refs favor Alabama.

Your offense is not NEARLY as good as 2011
Our offense in 2011 was ranked #30. Our offense right now? Also ranked #30. It's almost the exact same as far as production.
