UK's Kendra Harrison and UF's Marquis Dendy have been named as finalists for the Bowerman Trophy (top men's and women's individual in collegiate track and field). Fan voting is available through August 11th. You can vote for both here.

Harrison won a pair of NCAA titles this year in the indoor 60-meter hurdles and the outdoor 100-meter hurdles, and finished runner-up outdoors in the 400-meter hurdles. Her winning time of 7.87 indoors moved her to No. 3 on the all-time college performers list, and her 54.09 effort in the 400H is the fifth-fastest time ever by a collegian.
En route to winning the SEC title in the 100H, she ran 12.50 for the No. 3 spot on the all-time collegiate performers list in that event. That SEC title was part of a 4-0 season in the 100H outdoors, to go along with a 2-0 record in the 60H indoors.
Marquis Dendy:

Dendy won more individual NCAA titles than anyone in the country this season, sweeping the long jump and the triple jump at both the indoor and outdoor national championships.
His triple jumping in 2015 was particularly historic. With an NCAA indoor-winning jump of 57 feet (17.37m) for the No. 3 jump in college indoor history, he became the first collegian to jump 57 feet or farther indoors since 1986, and his winning outdoor leap, a windy 58-1½ (17.71m), was the third-farthest ever by a collegian under all conditions.
He checked in at No. 7 on the all-time performers list in the indoor long jump with an NCAA winning-leap of 27-2 (8.28m).

I really hate that Vernon Norwood isn't a finalist, but I don't see how the award won't go to Dendy

Yeah, the cats hit a grand slam hiring Stanford's coach a few seasons ago and have nice facilities. I still wouldn't mind LSU at least trying to poach him if Shaver left soon

Dendy and Prandini are gonna win.
