Don't get confused gump. There is a big difference in what Auburn "claims" and what Auburn has actually won....
Over the seasons, other polls and organizations have named Auburn national champions,[16] although none of these championships are claimed by the school:
1900, 1904, 1910, 1913, 1914, 1919, 1958, 1972, 1983, 1993, 1994, 2004
Just like there is a big difference in what bama has won and what they actually "claim".

So dumb.

not really the truth since if we go by all polls, Alabama actually has about 20 or so. The Crimson Tide has titles in reserve.

In reserve to add to the media guide sometime in the next 20 years after Notre Dame or Michigan wins a couple some time and creeps back close to that total number?

Bama fans enter AU thread, shite on it, thread is diverted towards UA and their accomplishments, thread turns into Bama Championship discussion.
Par for the course.

About all I gathered from it was a bama qb won an NFL game back in 1971 and maybe not since then, so gumps got mad and tried to chamge the subject when they should have just not commented.

So you "claim" a NC where you actually finished third, in your own conf., but you could "claim" even more? Holy shite!

Well, this thread went to shite.
Thanks to the UF fan who actually answered the question in the OP, which was all I really wanted to know.
Sorry someone had to get all pissy about his school's long-dead reputation for developing NFL QBs and start bringing up guys who played during the Nixon presidency.

My thread was about events that took place in the last 24 hours.
It was one of your Bama brethren who decided to talk about QBs who played for Bama 50 years ago.
Try to keep up, buddy.

I'm pretty sure Brodie Croyle won at least "a" game during his craptastic pro career.

You'd be wrong, 0-10.

I actually had high hopes for Greg McElroy, I thought he'd have a few years of backup duty but had the smarts and tools to possibly be a starter. still waiting.

Hey Dumbo, Bama has been recognized 28 Total Major College National Championship Year(s). Bama doesn't claim all of those.
According to this site, Auburn has only been recognized 8 Total Major College National Championship Year(s).
Did you link the 1941 AP poll? How about linking the 1972 AP poll where AU didn't win, or the 1958 AP poll which belongs to LSU. Or link the 1994 AP poll where Nebraska was undefeated NC's and Alabama was ranked #5 above Auburn #9 LINK
1900, not listed
1904, not listed
1910, not listed
1913, ok
1914, ok
1919, not listed
1958, LSU's (AU voted by Montgomery Full Season Championship )
1972, not listed
1983, ok
1993, ok
1994, Nebraska's. (#5 Bama was ranked above #9 AU in the AP)
2004 totally agree

The past is the still he past. Next time don't cherry pick time frames and you might get a better response.
Hope you are doing well.

So what's the point of winning anything if it become irrelevant within a year? Are we wasting our lives?

WTF are you even talking about? When has anything a fan done impacted the outcome of a game (short of crowd noise)?
Auburn has not beat Bama since the trees were poisoned. I'd say there are enough sample points to conclude causation.
