What I find ironic, Alabama fans are the quick to crucify Pollack, when their very school blasted "Take the Money and Run" and "Son of a Preacher Man" prior to the 2010 Iron Bowl.

One is supposed to be relatively objective where the other is obviously not.

In any event, Cade does need to grow thicker skin and Pollack needs to consider how he is trying to make a point before hitting tweet or send.

What I find ironic is you say "Alabama fans" as if many of us aren't calling out Cade for being a oversensitive, whiny, self-entitlted brat.

We have. Both on the Alabama forum and here. This isn't some thing where all of us are supporting this nonsense or that we aren't speaking out against it.

Why? Because he has an opinion (and a relatively minor one, at that)? Since when does David Pollack have loyalties to the feelings of anyone other than ESPN?

David Pollick has a history of foot-in-mouth disease. You could say that he is the Joe Biden of SEC football.

That obvious isn't it. And then call it melting down.

STFU Cade. Pollack is 100% right. And the Bama Online guy is a prick.

He doesn't. But when you have the podium on a national level (albeit Twitter in this case), a smart journalist/broadcaster has to consider the ramifications of how he is saying something.

He could have made the point without bringing up the IB, that's all.

Damn. Foster needs to grow some thicker skin if that's all it takes to get him going.

Seriously. Kickers and Closer have to have short memories if you want to be any good. I have no problem with Foster's teammates sticking up for him, but the others is just sad.

Like I said earlier, the tweet goes unnoticed without relating it back to the IB. I'd take it as a backhanded compliment and move on.

This. There is zero reason Bama fans or players should have been upset. I thought it was a good jab and funny at that. Bama players should not be involved in talking to the media anyways, nice way to show you are effected by the media. And the bama fans with the tweets...GFY and DIAF.

It sounds like to me that the Gumps can pick on others but they certainly can't take it.

They can tea bag, poison trees, murder their own, play classless songs to Cam, sing rammer jammer, etc, etc, but God forbid you make a insult to their lack of a kicker.

In the same vein of mocking.. did anyone see Gameday and where everyone was making fun of Finebaum for holding in his earpiece?
