You idiot go ahead and keep shooting off your mouths. In the next few weeks the silence will be golden. Then we will remind you about being Les Free.

We should be better. We have more talent and returned more experience.

And we looked terrible the first four games. TERRIBLE.

to say they've been proven wrong by winning all their games since is possibly one of the most retarded things said on this board yet.

It was disappointing but not shameful to lose to a good but not great Auburn team. Even if you think LSU's talent this year should make them a top 5-10 team upsets will still happen.

The loss didn't happen in a vaccuum though. It wasn't losing to Auburn or Wisconsin this year. It was losing pretty regularly to less talented teams in the same division and really not even performing at the same level out of conference.

It also wasn't just about results so much as obvious tells RE: suboptimal concentration that resulted in poor performance. Losing sucks, but can be acceptable when teams show heart and play to near their max ability. That was just nowhere near the truth for LSU in the last couple years. The jury is obviously still out on this team and we will know more after the next four SEC opponents - all of whom, save probably Arkansas, are better than the last three opponents for LSU.

Dude....

Les was let go because he couldn't/wouldn't change the offense, which is WHY we didn't blow out the barners. The talent was obviously there, but with a completely full toolbox the only thing Les kept grabbing for was the hammer. If he had cut loose the dogs the way Coach O has, that game would have been the reverse of your game with them...

...which I'll recap:

LSU went into their house, kept them out of the end zone, repeatedly telegraphed nearly every lackluster offensive play to the barner defense, and still only got beat by 5 points off of six field goals (did I mention they didn't get a single TD?)

Conversely, Arky went into their house and got skull-drug for 60 straight minutes, after which Auby celebrated under Toomer's oaks with a cochon de lait.

LSU was exactly 1 second away from BEATING the barn. But the Hogs, well, they were always one second away from Aubie putting even MORE points on the board.

Skull.Drug.

That is all.

Not sure where you wanted to go, but I bet you took a wrong turn with this thread.

Auburn is pretty good and Les still deserved to be fired.

You are welcome.

Well, Auburn got les fired and did its best to send Bert packing too. Just how many points would it have taken to fire Bert?

What about the Sumlin "hot-seat"? Guess Arkansas fans only kiss butt to "old" SEC fan bases.
