Yes-familiar with the rule. The other poster stated that it was a dumb rule even if he broke it. Don't like the rule - get it changed!

Got ya, misunderstood your other post.

It isnt even against the rules to meet. Just cant take anything from them or sign with them. You can talk to whoever you want.
im pretty sure you can't accept transportation from them, is an improper benefit.

So y'all have flipped from giving Tunsil the medal of honor for defending his mom to being totally defensive?

yall?

Im not a yall. Im an individual person who has my own beliefs. My stance and outlook on players between the ages of 18-22 has never changed because its simple. Kids do alot of stupid stuff at that age. Simple as that. I am never suprised when things come out about a single kid. I was that age, i did some real stupid stuff. I wasnt there, i dont know every detail, so instead of running to the rooftops and calling for his head and all of kinds of negative things, or instead of going to war for the kid i just simply sit back and say that he is innocent and i will back him until proven guilty.

Its really not as difficult as people make it out to be to be level headed about this kind of stuff

This really isn't that complicated. Agents were there are they weren't. Photos and recordings not needed. Find the agents. Pretty simple.

If it was that simple you would have a lot more athletes in trouble with the NCAA.
NCAA can't prove shite on the words of a angry man.

It is sad to see some Miss State fans just chomping at the bit that a young man might be in trouble.

So who were the 4 men that supposedly pulled Tunsil off of Miller? What did they see and when did the see it?

It's been a slow morning so far and I was up late dealing with a teething 15 month old.

As Auburn knows, it's what they do.

No. It is not. They can not transport them anywhere. Not to a dinner or a meeting. Especially not to leave a crime situation. The transportation to a restaurant precedent has already been set. It has been ruled a violation in the past.

Except if any of this were to go to trial, everyone present would be deposable under oath, including the agents. (I think. I'm not a lawyer)

The only part you got right is that you're not a lawyer.

Can you please provide a link to where in the past the NCAA has ruled against a player that took a "local" ride with either an agent or "runner"?

** Edit: where there were not extenuating circumstances (ie. lying to investigators etc...) & deemed it worth enough to suspend a player or sanction an institution?
