Here is the deal, if we are not getting in transition and playing fast paced, we are fricked…USC style of play is kryptonite to Kentucky fast paced offense. We got our arse beat…credit to Paris and the Cocks, they owned us tonight!

Dude, we play zone…USC would had 10 more 3s. Playing zone is not going to solve our problems on defense. Got to accept, we are a high scoring team…we we get against teams that slow it down, we have to hit shots.

Dude. You change up the look with a zone. Different teams react different ways. We can’t guard the dribble so we have to collapse and they kick it out. You use a zone to get a team out of its groove. Our man defense doesn’t deny so we just let them run their offense and hope they miss. They didn’t.

You get rewarded one Quad 1 win on your resume. If Kentucky keeps losing games, it might be a Quad 2 win. For Kentucky, they get a Quad 3 lose on their resume. Depending how Mizzou does, might be a Quad 2 lose by year end. I’ve been trying to crack how the committee picks. A&M last year had too many Quad 4 loses the first month of the season, and we got a lower seed bc of it.
