Alabama has won 7 of 9 and scored 7+ runs in their last 4 games.

That is interesting. However I think the 19-17-1 record is correct going in to this year.
If you go year by year in LSU's guides it shows 19-17-1. However where they list the series record it shows 18-18-1. A&M's year by year and series record both show 19-17-1. So it looks like there is a minor error in LSU's.
If you look at the years played and outcomes, they do not match.
LSU shows a game in 1907, A&M doesn't. A&M shows 2 games in 1913, LSU only shows one.
