It would give Bama a chance to cut into Tubs win record against Bama.
it would take some ego play like this since there is no logical reason for Bama to agree to this series.

....a home-and-home with Cinn. That's some shite that Auburn would qualify for...not Alabama. We play the Penn. Sts, Southern Cals and Notre Dames of college football in home-and-home games.

The delusion is strong within you. Bama never plays H&H's with lesser teams

Aside from the two trips to Hawaii as a quasi bowl game, Bama has not traveled to a non BCS school in over 20 years. It will never happen. This kind of stuff is for the poors of the SEC like Miss State

In defense of the boogs, I don't think they have traveled to a non BCS school in like 40 years

So it has happened
Bama doesnt do H&H very often at all, but to say yall only do it with USC's ND's and Penn states is laughable.

Meaning as a regular season game. Don't be obtuse. You know the difference

How am I being obtuse, Im stating facts, whereas the other poster is proclaiming delusions, and you are downplaying reality. Who is being obtuse again?

quote:You do a great job of depicting "auburn logic". Everybody with knowledge of the situation knew the Hawaii game was a de facto bowl game for Alabama and that's why the H&H was established. If my memory serves me, Nebraska, Missouri, Southern Cal, UCLA, Notre Dame and Penn. St have been our H&H opponents over the last 40 or so years....has Auburn got any "history" they will compare to that?.....I didn't think so.

Oh, and Texas A&M, too.

Tubs can keep dreaming. They would have to give us a 2-1 deal at a minimum before even considering it. He needs to realize he is at Cincy now, not the sec. You want to play the big boys you do so on our terms or not at all.

So by your logic, you never do it, except these couple of times when we did, but don't count those. Duke was another great powerhouse in football

Again, you show your lack of intellect. Go home junior

Yeah, they are certainly not a UW or Kansas/TCU caliber team.

You forgot to list Auburn's "big-time" OOC opponents in their home-and-home history...want me to help?
Don't let those jimmies get so wadded up, Scooter...it's just friendly banter.

Do not want an H&H.
36-0 was enough "revenge" for me.
Maybe let them come to Tuscaloosa
for homecoming.
Why doesn't he want to play
Auburn?

This sounds more suited for a program like Auburn or Ole Miss.

"Since 2007, the Tigers have played 25 non-conference foes at home. Only five of them came from BCS leagues: Kansas State and South Florida in 2007, West Virginia in 2009, Clemson in 2010 and Washington State in 2013."
"Since Nick Saban got to Tuscaloosa, the program has moved away from the home-and-home series in favor of a series of neutral-site games against BCS-quality opponents: Florida State in Jacksonville in 2007; Clemson (2008), Virginia Tech (2009 and 2013) and West Virginia (2014) in Atlanta; and Michigan (2012) and Wisconsin (2015) in Dallas.
Those games help pump up Alabama's schedule strength. Saban and AD Bill Battle also have made a solid financial case that their program makes more money from an annual one-game classic because it makes nothing from the road half of a home-and-home series."
You're welcome!
