Nobody except LSU fans thought this. He got an offer, big fkn deal. Again, LSU fans over estimating their worth. Oh, We offered, he'll come because we are the greatest is what the millennial LSU fan thinks. He gets an offer and he's coming, with no data to back up he's even remotely interested in LSU. No data whatsoever.
He got a call, LSU offered and Tua said ok, thanks and hung up. Probably walked away giggling.
It's widely known this battle was between Bama and USC.

All this is doing is going to cost LSU their big time QB recruit, but they do still have Lowell Narcisse. Assuming they don't run HIM off as well.
