As bad as this past week has been and as tough as the next six months will be for Tua it will prove to be a blessing in disguise.

He will have a much better career than Burrow or Herbert and in my opinion this was in question up until the injury. Why you might ask?

Would Lamar Jackson be doing what he's doing right now had he gone to the Bengals or the Dolphins? What if Aaron Rodgers didn't fall and go to packers? What if Brady wouldn't have gone to Bellicheck? What if Dan Marino never went to Don Shula?

Only three of the top twenty-five highest paid qb's of all time went in the top 10. You know why? Because the true money is made in the 2nd and 3rd contracts. You know how you make the big bucks in those contracts? You win. You know how you win? Yep, you got it. You go to a franchise that is worth a damn. While Burrow and Herbert will be cashing $15 mill+ signing bonuses, Tua will be playing for a team that has management that knows what they are doing and will quickly be winning while Burrow and Herbert will be looked at to start from day one and start winning with no assistance. If I'm Tua, I'm fine just where I'm at.

Yea I'm melting. This forum has officially become intolerable. There are zero serious discussions to be had here.

I'd take a team with a solid Oline before money. Like you said, he'll make up the money. Unless he gets hurt.

You're justifying Tuas injury as a positive. Must not have her the part about If the blood vessels are pinched for too long that he won't be playing again.

If Tua goes to the Saints/Patriots/Colts/Chargers/Broncos and Burrow goes to the Dolphins/Bengals you tell me which one will have a better career.

The Dolphins are taking steps to completely rebuild their roster. They could be very good in a few years.

Also, you're stupid. Bird in the hand vs. two in the bush, and all that.

And people like me are dumb enough to keep trying to have those serious, civil discussions despite all the evidence that such a thing is impossible on this site. ah well, guess I'm just too idealistic for my own good.

This whole thread is ridiculous. No matter what you think, there is NO WAY Tua would have rathered wrecking his hips and ankles due to preference of draft position considering no one really knows if he will come back and be the same player.

Probably about the same number of times we heard "LSU will never beat Alabama again".
