Truth be told, Alabama played a bad game, yet almost won vs. UM, who didn't look great

Very, very reminiscent of the SECCG.....Georgia played a very bad game, yet almost won vs. Alabama, who didn't look that great, either.

It reiterates the fact that the Georgia Bulldogs were clearly one of the top four teams in college football, as so many across the nation assert.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I will....for just a teensy-bit longer. This year's CFPC was corrupt.

The first time in way too long we are mercifully devoid of an SEC team in a title game and they’ve already been demoted to moral victories

Damn

so let me get this straight. bama and georgia played bad in the most important games and lost. the teams that beat them played great and won and earned it on the field. so this leads you to believe that

Suck me sideways. I do agree.

We did get whipped on the lines, though. And that was fking wild to watch. I'd be investigating them getting some of that ole deer antler spray before the game.

Michigan dominated Bama in the trenches and kept shooting themselves in the foot over and over again. Bama finally showed some back bone early in the second half but that was about it.

Some of y’all are blind.

Georgia was also not what they have been in the past couple years.

LSU.....always mad AND jealous of other teams who have the good spotlight on them.

LSU gets plenty of spotlight....except it's mostly b-a-d.

Deal with it, Tigers.

Almosts don't count in football. Here is the truth,
Alabama beat GA
Mich beat Alabama
Mich is playing for the Natty.
End of the story.

Both were much closer to 100% than they were in November.

Worst Georgia team in 3 years. Worst Bama team since 07. Worst SEC championship (where the game was close). Worst Semi-Final Games (where the games were close)

Bama somehow clawed its way into the national title game with its worst team under Saban and a running back playing QB. Georgia was the most impressive team all year and shite the bed against Bama at the worst possible time when they had 0 business losing.

Bad year for College football.

Michigan would go undefeated in the SEC this season. Their OL and DL would kill UGA this season. Not to mention their secondary looked better than Bama’s and UGA’s

The game was close because Michigan derped around on special teams.

I don't think Bama played all that badly. Michigan was up to the task in the first half. Bama probably should have won with a few different plays here and there. I thought Bama was the better team overall.

But.... its amazing how when the replay camera is working that a BAMA PIC is turned over and a Michigan drive is sustained. Funny how that works.

Based on the many posts by Bama fans over the past few weeks, I am bit surprised that their fan base is still talking about the SEC Championship. Its sad really. As an UGA fan, I have accepted our fate and subsequent play in the Orange bowl. It happens. We did not play Alabama. The Bama fan base still drones on though.
