I played bball for a D-I school. We won our conference tournament my senior year, and I played in the big dance that year. I wasn't a starter, but got some playing time most games. We got blown out in our only big tourney game, and coach let me play the last 5 minutes. Kind of cool to think about this time of year.

Didn't effect me one way or another. I do think it's a lame stunt to pull and can't for the life of me figure out why some think it's praiseworthy or even amusing. It's all very boring, imo.
