We have a winner!! Noil will not be the last high profile receiver recruit LSU will lose out on due to the offensive choices of Cam.

All Cam's fault eh? Les Miles doesn't know the forward pass? Give me a fricking break. LSU has as many WR's in the NFL as the rest of the SEC West combined under Miles, and that doesn't even count Dwayne Bowe since he was primarily a Saban guy.

LSU wide receivers in the NFL under Les:
- Brandon Lafell
- Russell Shepard
- Reuben Randle
- Jarvis Landry
- OBJ

.... and Kadron Boone was cut in week 8.

Texas A&M Wide Receivers in the NFL:
- Mike Evans

Auburn Wide Receivers in the NFL:
- None

Ole Miss Wide Receivers in the NFL:
- Donte Montcrief
- Mike Wallace

Mississipi State Wide Receivers in the NFL:
- None

Alabama Wide Receivers in the NFL:
- Julio Jones
- Kevin Norwood

Arkansas Wide Receivers in the NFL:
- Jarius Wright

jarvis landry had some drops early in his career and he turned out to be one of the most sure handed receivers in LSU history. so there is still hope.

There are a lot of receivers from LSU in the NFL because they have good size and can run block. Most kids coming out of high school do not understand that though...they would rather be in an ESPN highlight.

Who's fault is it then?? Don't let the facts get in your way....

Your quarterbacks combined through 10 games have completed less than 70 passes to it's vaunted WR corp.

Amari Cooper by example already has 79 receptions on the year in one less total game.

If you think recruits aren't reminded of these facts by every other team, you are kidding yourself.

I agree LSU has had some good receivers in the past, but what does that have to do with the current offensive philosophy (80% run, 20% pass). I would also argue that those talented received were extremely under utilized while at LSU and probably very underrated going into the pros as a result.

LSU's "offensive philosophy " is dictated by the fact we have one of the worst...Vandy's crew may be #1...QB's in Division 1 football & has nothing to do with CLM's or Cameron's play calling. But to call Quinn over rated is ridiculous: look at his h.school numbers, and whose records he beat, and all the scholly offers he had from all the big boys. He's had a case of the drops & that happens to every WR over the course of a career. Ruben Randle & & Odel Beckam both dropped a lot of passes in their second yr, when they should have been well past any rookie jitters.

People are quick to blame the loss on Vadal's personal foul and the kick going out of bounds, but Quinn cost them just as much. He catches either of those 3rd down drops, who knows what happens.

Saw the stat earlier, he has over a 60% drop rate on passes thrown to him this year. Yet, LSU has John Diarse on the sideline - a guy with better hands and size.

Let's be honest with one another, the infatuation with Trey Quinn has always been about the color of his skin.

He is, was and always will be overrated and given more credit than deserved because he is a white guy.
Yeah it wouldn't have anything to do with his 4.4 forty time, and his national high school receiving record right. Hes just a freshman, on a shitty passing team.

He has seemed to have a case of the drops this year. Hope it is just freshmen jitters.

He is probably so stunned each time the ball comes his way that:

A) A pass play was called
B) The QB actually threw the pass
C) That the ball traveled in the air further than one yard

Is he a freshman? I hope not, he's a good player, I've seen him make some real nice plays this year.

He's a good player but you have to admit the two drops were critical so = choke.
