I see that particular image posted a good bit and it's somewhat misleading. For one he's following the pulling guard as the play is designed. Also there are two unblocked defenders with a clear angle to fill that hole one of whom is unseen from the angle of that image.
He's had plenty of other bad ones though.

If used he needs to be given very specific instructions, here's where the hole is supposed to be, go there and attempt to explode through it. Do not stop and try to find a better place.
He began doing this weird thing where he'd get the ball, take 2 steps towards the line and STOP and then try to restart again and it was just awful.
