hmmmmm....

Person 1: Works out, hones his skills, prepares to be selected in the Top 10 of the NFL draft....assuring him and his family of multi-millions of guaranteed dollars.

Person 2: Posts on an innerweb message board about the personal life of another person and expresses moral outrage while waiting for the "ding, fries are done" at his "office".

interdasting....to say the least

No, he doesn't pay for shite. He's not the only one and Bama isn't the only school. I think Snoop Brassell has 4 kids so he is 2x's dumber than TR.

I believe it is possible for someone in his situation to do the right thing and take responsibility for his kids- thus making the best of a less than ideal situation. This appears to be what he has done, and it is the honorable thing to do. He helped bring them into this world, and will soon be in a position to meet whatever needs they will have.

I say "less than ideal", because that's exactly what it is. The typical 16 year old is not "dad" material, folks. If you call this "ignorant", it is you who is the misinformed party here. The majority will run from that situation like the Bubonic Plague. To his credit, he apparently did not.

Sure it is bad decision making. What matters is how you deal with the consequences of those bad decisions. Trent is very involved in his daughters' lives. He sees them frequently, talks to them every day, and is working his arse off to ensure they have a better childhood than he did. I don't know what more you can ask of someone than that.

BHP, you're better than that.

Was he guaranteed that when he had his kids? No. Could he slip in a puddle and ruin his shot at the NFL tomorrow? Yes.

I did just cook some easy fries though, how did you know?

I cant believe there are so many people who are so obviously miserable in their own little shitty lives.

And odds are that a large fraction of that miserable category have kids too and its a given that they are bitches just like their parents.

Look. You will find no bigger advocate for young black men being more responsible and NOT impregnating girls when young, etc.

I have a special interest in that.

BUT, once the bell is rung....I see no point in simply labeling that person as 'irresponsible, stupid, etc.'

Once faced with the situation, it appears that Trent is doing the correct things and is / will be very responsible and an involved parent.

i commend that.

I saw somewhere(no link)that a NFL draft guy said he will go high in the draft this spring. As high as #3.
And this, If every man-boy who fathered a child would take care of them as well as TR has this world would be a much better....

I see your point.

I'm just looking at it from the perspective that having kids that young is the ultimate form of irresponsibil parenting. Obviously, not many of those people will ever have the opportunity TR does and tend to get stuck in cycles.

It just seems odd for him to be lauded for doing what he should as far as spending time with them etc... That should be normal.

RGIII: Gets mention as to how "articulate" he is. How "classy", etc.

Andrew Luck: Not so much.

Why? Because of the differences that make up the common perception.

it is unfortunate. but, true.

Holy ballsack, a high school kid did something dumb? Alert the presses! You are a giant douche because of your posting history on this website. Notice I said "resident", which indicates that this belief stems from more than just one instance of bad posting.

He's an irresponsible jerkoff and there's no way to spin that. One kid could be looked at as a mistake, but two is just retarded.

I bet you were so responsible in high school, weren't you? High school kids should be shot if they screw up, right?

quote:

Honestly, do you think TR is paying his kids expenses? Working during the week or during the summer?

No, he is preparing for an opportunity to make millions in the NFL in less than a year. Jeez, so irresponsible.

quote:

This doesn't apply exclusively to TR though, having kids before you're out of high school is not smart.

But shite happens, and people work through it. Maybe once your balls drop then you will realize that.

Personally, Luck reminded me of the Geico caveman.

RG3 was just all around awesome, but I was more impressed with his socks.

I'll agree that TR is making the best of a bad situation. I just have a hard time looking past the fact he put himself in it.
