Also, did the Shaq Wiggins tweet invoke a classic Tom Hanks line from the Burbs? I see the '80s cinema course is already paying dividends.

Sadly I'm not sure that many programs with the environment necessary to help Tray Matthews mature would actually welcome Tray Matthews into their program.

We'll see. Hopefully everything works out for him.

Agreed. Kid needs a swift kick in the pants and a strong role model. As Garrison Smith and Amarlo Herrera were quoted, a lot of these freshmen came in as 5* guys and started early out of necessity and it got to their heads. They think they can do no wrong and that's why you're seeing guys being dismissed and transferring out. Pruitt isn't allowing any BS during practice and Richt is backing him up 100%.

For perspective, a lot of UGA fans think of Isaiah Crowell as a model of immaturity and a bad teammate. When he was dismissed, the reaction from teammates and coaches wasn't nearly as harsh as it has been with Matthews and Wiggins.

They'll go to Louisville, Grantham will give them starting jobs in 2015, and nothing will really change. Their statements have pretty clearly indicated that they haven't really learned anything from this.

If anything, Isaiah was humble and quiet through his whole ordeal. Hasn't ever said anything bad about UGA either. He moved on and did the best he could to make it to the NFL (which he managed to do, so good for him).

Wiggins left voluntarily.
Does he have to sit out?

Would love to see Matthews go to Auburn just to see the Georgia fans lose their shite. Words like dirty, cheater and thug would pour from their mouth like lies from a politician

I don't see it as deflection. With guys like Wiggins and Matthews being vital parts on defense, Georgia was likely to end up under achieving like they always do. Georgia's main problem has been their lack of discipline and it has shown in big game after big game at crucial times. You have to stop it if you want different results.

We say those about Auburn regardless of how many arrest records you guys pick up.

It's Auburn

So your saying he needs a Family environment?

Where God is a Thing?

He needs to go someplace where he isn't special, the coaches and veteran players don't take any shite from him, and he has to earn his spot. Maybe AU is that place. I don't know enough about the inner workings of that program to know.

I would think the ideal spot would be somewhere far away from home where no one knows or cares who he is or how highly rated he was as a HS senior

JuCo.
Then Auburn.
It's their way (and they take credit for humbling him).

To go one step further... The main factor with Pruitt going forward is simple- How can a secondary get better by keep kids around that do not want to do the work that it takes to make it better?
Regardless of numbers, character is always the most redeeming quality of a football player, entitlement is one its biggest detriments.
