I know you are just using this as an opportunity to hit below the belt, so I'm going to call you out on it. What is sleezy about the transfers? Give specifics.

I'm surprised he didn't end up at Mississippi State as most coaches can't appreciate and coddle to his personality like Todd Grantham.

Edit to add that Lyle must let his boys do anything (at practice and in town) to attract Wiggins.

Is Auburn the sleaziest program in the SEC or has Ole' Miss surpassed them?
Why is that? Have these transfers caused trouble or something?

Cam Newton? No.
Tray Matthews? No.
Nick Marshall? Citation.
Casey Dunn? No.
Wilson Bell? No.
Austin Golson? No.
Darius James? No.
Jarrett Stidham? No.
Paul James III? No.
Sal Cannella? No.
Jamel Dean? No.
John Franklin III? No.
Jason Smith? No.
Jovon Robinson? Kicked off for being shite teammate.
Joseph Turner? No.
Duke Williams? Kicked off for being shite teammate. Davonte Lambert? No.
Devaroe Lawrence? No.
Maurice Swain? No.
Xavier Dampeer? No.
Kenny Flowers? No.
Ben Bradley? No.
Brandon King? No.
Devante Danzy? No.
Cam Artis-Payne? No.
Roszell Gayden? No.
Brandon Moseley? No.
Joel Bonomolo? No.

That's everyone, all the way back to 2010. Transfers from other FBS schools and Junior Colleges. There was one arrest out of all of them, and it was a citation to Nick Marshall for weed.

So, tell me, what's so sleazy?

I'm putting words in his mouth, but probably why they had to transfer in the first place.
Thus the term, Last Chance U

Interesting TT. It makes me wonder how many of these kids transferred for playing time and how many and how many were discipline problems for their previous school? If there are a lot of discipline reasons, then I am impressed with Gus's ability to influence young men into turning their life around. Nothing sleazy about that. And if they transferred for playing time, then perhaps Gus is better at developing players than he has been given credit for.

Georgia has 2 juco transfers in the 2 deep (Javon Wims at WR and Demarcus Hayes on the OL).

We have 1 more fighting an uphill battle for a spot at DB (JR Reed from Tulsa)

That's fine and dandy, but they aren't getting in trouble with the law at Auburn.

SleazyU? More like RehabilitationU.

The vast majority were Junior College transfers. Gus Malzahn took a lot in his first few classes to replenish the roster and depth issues.

Well in Gus's defense he does needs someone else to teach his QB the skills of the position. It's like take out.

Sounds like an Auburn thing to say. The current recruiting class was born around 2000 and you are saying that most of their parents weren't born in 1981?

Another shining example of the white trash, redneck town and fans of Auburn.

Keep posting. This is great fodder.

Agree with others that JuCos aren't really "transfers".

That is also where Auburn had bowl practices in 2010.

So using the transitive property....
