What?
Sumlin will never have a full recruiting class b/c 30% of them will have to be kicked off due to arrests and Thuggish behavior

False. Unless the police are directly involved, sumlin doesn't kick off our tPOSs

Last year was still Shermans recruits... you said Sumlins recruits are thugs and he cant win with them. Is reading really that hard?
If Sumlin gets 3+ years to be judged in the recruiting hotbed that he's located, Bert damn well should get that many.
Anyway, back to the subject- nice, I like it, good job Bert.

A 3 win season (0-8 conference) cuts that time in half.
Conversely, an 11-win season extends that time.

According to your boy, those were all Sherman's players.

If you have a decent 3rd season (after the messiah that Manziel was) I'll give you that - fine. However, if you do how I think you'll do- no.

Still waiting on you to explain how 2013 wasn't a Sumlin class.

Explain
2013 2-deep (Sherman recruits in bold)
DE: Obioha/Taylor
NT: Ennis/Golden
DT: Williams/Robinson
DE: Stansbury/Arnold
LB: Askew/Washington
LB: Claiborne/Mastrogiovanni
LB: Jenkins/Baggs
DB: Everett/Sezer
DB: Harris/Hurd
DB: Raven/Honeycutt
DB: Matthews/Wiggins
The bulk of the leadership, with the exception of Deshazor Everett and Kirby Ennis, graduated in 2012 or left for the NFL. Ennis tore his ACL during the Arkansas game. To his credit, Toney Hurd tried to step up, but if talent - leadership is bad, talent - leadership - talent is really bad.
2012 happened because of a combination of sheer luck (lack of injuries) and great senior leadership. Spencer Nealy, Steven Terrell, Sean Porter, Jonathan Stewart, and Dustin Harris were all senior starters on that squad along with junior Damontre Moore. As you saw in the 2012 Louisiana Tech game, as well as the Auburn, Sam Houston, and Missouri games, once the starters were pulled, the defensive capability dropped dramatically. (Led La. Tech 27-0 before depth became a factor, Led Auburn 49-7 before pulling the starters, led SHSU 47-0 before pulling the starters, and led Missouri 42-0 before pulling the starters)
Let's contrast that to the projected 2014 lineup (SUMLIN recruits in bold)
DE: Hall, Garrett
DT: Williams, Manning
NT: Walker, Henderson
DE: Obioha, Cunningham
LB: Baggs, Washington
LB: Mastrogiovanni, Chevis
LB: Hilliard, Sanders
DB: Everett, Sezer
DB: Harris, Harvey
DB: Raven, Wilson
DB: Matthews, Wiggins
I sincerely doubt Baggs starts more than one game this year, and if Raven and Matthews don't get their shite together, they're out as well.

We aren't talking about the two deep
Dude said 2013 wasn't a full Sumlin recruiting class. That has nothing to do with Sherman players on your two deep for the 2013 season.

I can't defend that statement. The 2013 season was an indictment on Sherman's recruiting: Great depth on offense, almost nonexistent depth on defense.
If you go deeper into the numbers in terms of depth:
2010 class - 5 DL (1 left), 3 DB (1 left), 2 LB (0 left)
2011 class - 5 DB (4 left), 5 LB (2 left), 0 DL
2012 class (transition class) - 3 DB (1 left), 1 LB (0 left), 6 DL (3 left)
2013 class - 6 DL (4 left), 5 LB (4 left), 5 DB (4 left)
2014 class - 6 DL (6 left), 2 LB (2 left), 3 DB (3 left)
Out of 20 defensive players Sherman recruited in the 2010 and 2011 classes, only 8 are still on the team. Out of those 8, only on has a solid lock on a starting spot (Deshazor Everett)

He was mid-coitus with the recruits mother, whom the recruit told to "shut up" when she was moaning too loud. Bert then pulled out in disgust.
This happened twice.

Yep, we have smart players now just like Stanford. It's worked pretty well for them the past few years.
