Luck is relative. If LSU would have won any of those games, Bama fans would have been able to look back on similar tough breaks.

That's the only possible reason LSU could have lost the 2012 & 2014 games. I remember watching the 2014 game and thinking after that late fumble recovery there was no way LSU could lose. Boy was I wrong.

This Bama curse over LSU in Death Valley is nothing new. I remember a Ray Perkins coached Bama team coming into Tiger Stadium and achieving a tie score late in the game on a fourth down play that was so long, it required a TELESCOPE to measure the distance! Then the Tigers went the distance of the field, and Ronnie Lewis missed about a 18 yard chip shot FG!
