That's a damn good deal for a Heisman winning QB in 2010 considering Bama was paying the exact same price for DTs in 1999

I don't care who you're a fan of, you have to appreciate smart shopping and big savings like that.

Any really good season they've ever had can be traced back to cheating. I'm not knocking them but they will do whatever it takes to try and get out from under Alabama's shadow. The only way possible this could happen is if they picked up and move the entire university and if that were possible the best place for that relocation would be..
Drum roll please.........

Didn't South Carolina just break .500 all-time this decade?

Current trends hold up and you might dip back down where you came from.

If a program is on probation from a previous year finding and is having a national championship caliber season, I see nothing wrong.

Oklahoma was on major probation in 1973 and 1974 for an incident that was the result of the 1972 season. At the time, the AP didn't care. OU was the best team and only undefeated team in 1974 despite a bowl ban but ultimately won the AP.

Had the AP followed their same theme in 1993, Auburn and FSU are co-national champions.

When you are the only undefeated team in a P5 conference pre-NC game era, you have a legit claim.

Teams on probation shouldn't claim NCs.

So tell me, has Alabama been on probation for any NCs?

They beat Bama, won a NC and went back to the NC game all lately. Arkansas does that and I'll show you some bigly arrogance.

Doesn't said team still unfairly benefit, maybe even more so, from the transgression(s), a year or more after the occurance(s). Auburn, for example, claims a NC the year after Newton was recruited. And it was the only year that he was at Auburn.

hell anyone that bases their opinion of any fan base on what goes down on this board might want to consider coming out of their mommy's basement more often.

it's shady based on how it all went down, but it's not like Auburn went undefeated and finished #3 and claimed a national title. They don't claim it. They were crowned national champion by virtue of playing in and winning the BCSNCG. That's all the proof one needs to validate Auburn's 2010 national championship.

You don't have any place in any national championship discussions.

So your position is that AU didn't claim a NC the year after Newton was recruited?

We all know UGA sure as hell didn't. You know why? Because UGA hasn't been the subject of those type of conversations in 35 years.. AU didn't have to claim anything because they earned it on the field.

bull shite we dont claim them. 1913, 1914, 1957, 1958, 1983, 1993, 2004 & 2010. All National Championship years.

1958? KMA, Loser!

Now if the NCAA gave out titles for cheating, Auburn would be a dynasty.
