I think Harris is going to be a BEAST. Cam is gonna walk around with a permanent corndog in his pants.

My point is you cherry picked one game. I would take Manziel all day over Wallace even though Bo obviously way outperformed him vs one common opponent.

I just cherry picked the two games he most likely watched of both QB's. I'm not saying either is better than either dude. I'm just asking for him to further explain his statement. Personally, it just seems like his jimmies are rustled and that's why he would take Marshall.

You realize that I understand that, right? Once again, I'm not claiming Bo to be better...just asking for a further diagnosis from a guy that seems sour. That's it. Honestly, don't even know why you waster your time responding to me. I made no stab or claim towards either player.

2. Prescott: If Prescott grows like State fans expect, he could easily be #1. Erratic and inconsistent in his throws but a great scrambler.
3. Marshall: Great scrambler, but his arm leaves a lot to be desired. I think Prescott's arm has more upside.

Prescott has an extra year in college on Marshall. Even with that Marshall had a better completion %, better yards per attempt, & a better TD/INT ratio in 2013.

Looking at only conference games, the spread in all those stats only increase in favor of Marshall.

I think Brandon Harris and Kyle Allen will both be studs, i just don't know if we'll see that this season.

Though Jennings didn't get 1st string snaps, he had a whole year with Cam. Harris , in a very short time, has about equaled his practice performance right now. He just got finished doing some work with Nall, and will train with Whitfield. After summer practice, I really think Harris will either start or quickly get a shot if Jennings underperforms....jmo

Stats don't always tell the story. Prescott just has better arm strength and mechanics. I watched both several times. If Prescott really improves his accuracy, he is draftable. Marshall is not. Marshall runs his system very well though and he used the talent around him well. It will be interesting to see Marshall behind some new O-linemen.

I would say based on degree of difficulty that going 0-3 and causing a 3 and out against the swiss cheese that was the A&M defense on the last drive would be squarely on Bro.

The offense scored 38 points. The loss is 100% on the shoulders on the defense.

Debatable. Marshall has an incredibly strong arm.

and mechanics.
While they are better than Marshall's, they aren't that great either. His footwork isn't good, he has a tendency to side-arm short throws, and his follow thru is spotty.

Not sure why you felt the need to include this. Logan Thomas was the 6th QB drafted and he sucked at VT. NFL =/= College.

You're just ranking Prescott above Marshall b/c you "expect him to grow" and "if he improves accuracy." Arm strength was VERY debatable and mechanics weren't that much better. And, what the hell does "draftable" have to do with this discussion? Please don't make us list all of the "stud" college QBs that were horrible in the pros or never made it at all. Prescott may be better or equal to Marshall but not based on the shite reasons you listed.

Yup 300+ yards and 3 TD's...all on his shoulders.

Prescott-Total package qb. Showed that he can pass, and pass very well, last season, although he doesn't need to throw very much. Best short yardage and overall qb. His leadership is unmatched and has a real tough characteristic about him. Best in the west at the moment.

Marshall-Great decision maker and total package qb with his arm and speed. Not going to run you over, but he leads the best offense of the 3 mentioned here. Close to Dak overall, but I give Dak the edge because of his tremendous leadership ability and toughness quality.

Wallace- Great dual threat qb with the most experience out of the bunch. Good acceleration and decent poise. Bo has a decent arm but his worst quality is his decision making under pressure. This needs to improve.

thats how I see it. We have three experienced QBs that are average passers but run thier system well. Then we have a fairly unknown that has at least played. Then we have two complete unknowns and one real bad QB.

Go look at the starting QBs coming into the 2012 season and see that it was actually waaaay worst.

LSU - Mett's first year
Bama - McCarron system QB prior to 2012
MSU - Tyler Russell started about half the 2011 season
TAMU - Manziel's first year
Ole Miss - Bo's first year
Auburn - Kiehl Frazier's first (and only) year starting at QB
Arkansas - Tyler Wilson (the one saving grace of the league)

Holding a healthy Manziel to 38 points was a masterful job by Ole Miss (the only two games where A&M scored less than 40 were after he broke his thumb against MSST). Bro just couldnt capitalize with 2 minutes to go and a tie game. Against the 114th ranked defense in the country.
