This is one of those topics that may need to be divided by eras. There's so many great coaches from the distant past and so many great ones over the last 30 years...it's damn near impossible to make one list.

If you're listing the best coaches of all time who coached in the SEC, this list is weak IMO.

If you're listing the coaches who were more successful IN THE SEC, then you would count winning the SEC as the highest achievement. In that scenario, I could see Saban further down and Spurrier should be around 2nd or 3rd.
