LOL here comes the Barn to tout Mason, the most system oriented player the SEC has ever seen. Jay Prosch could've put up 1500 as the feature back that year.
What about that system where he rushed for 1,000 yards under Scot fricking Loeffler?

Tre Mason was a beast in college.

It's a shame he's having so many mental issues right now.

I love that LSU fans are still trying to make Fournette a thing.

Do the last 10 years include Kenny Irons? He played in 2006, but I don't know if you're going by 2017 or the season of 2016.

If Dyer hadn't gone crazy he would be on the list. He is in the top 20 now.

He's also the only one on the list who will have stayed for 4 years.

I get it, there are others who had much better individual seasons, but he still had a great college career in a very bad offensive scheme. He deserves to be in the conversation.

stats don't lie. I'll agree that he was contained by Alabama twice, but beyond that, he was very successful.

I agree, just pointing it out. He was a very good back though.

there was not a better RB in the SEC in the last 10 years.

I believe the name that you are looking for is Fournette!

He might not be the most purely talented but if Ralph Webb duplicates his 2016 season he will have a chance to finish as the #2 all time rusher in SEC history.

Auburn fans going full retard this morning. McFadden finished 2nd in the Heisman voting twice. If he didn't share the backfield with Felix Jones and Peyton Hillis then he likely wins both.

Reading comprehension much?

Gene was referring to Gurley.

Whoever downvoted Lacy being the only decent pro, what the hell are you watching?

maybe ingram? Gurley sucks in the pros. Im sorry Georgia. he does.

Derrick henry hasn't really played yet. Yeldon, Lattimore, McFadden?

Trent Richardson, my god

A lot of high pick suckfest on that list

I haven't read this whole thread, so I'm sure it's been mentioned. But Tre Mason rushed for over 1,000 yrds and was one of only a couple AU players that didn't freaking lay down and quit on Gene Chizik in 2012. Mason belongs on the list, and Jay Prosch made Mason even better in 2013.

So sad to hear that Mason struggles with mental illness.

I remember Hillis romping and stomping in Baton Rouge and making it look like our championship dreams were done in 2007.

Definitely Ingram, which is one reason why you got down-voted.

Gurley had a great rookie season, but he plays on one of the shittiest offenses in the NFL. With no vertical passing game, and a shitty offensive line, it is hard for him to do much of anything.
