After 4 catches and no TDs? Not a real high bar there.

Eric Berry was dominant that season on a bad team. He absolutely destroyed people and broke records

Berry was a bad arse. Only thing that could stop him was a full speed Tebow...and I think a small country got destroyed from the tidal wave that hit caused

YPA is a stupid stat. 10 passes for 10 yards each is better than 1/10 for 100 yards.

All that being said, I wasnt even trying to make the argument that Manziel was better during SEC play. Just that the gap wasnt nearly as wide as the OP i responded too made it seem. Especially since Manziel accounted for more total yards with one less game.

Pretty good list there Sammy. Stretching it to the top ten, I'd add Pat Peterson's 2010 season. No one wanted to throw his way and when they did it usually didn't go well for them. Besides that he was the best Punt returner in the SEC that season.
Ingram in '09 was a machine.
Dorsey in '07, prior to the horrific cheap-shot created injury, was simply a man amongst boys.
McFadden in '07 was unstoppable.
Russel in '06 was pretty bad-arse.
Honorable mention to Richardson in '11, and Prescott in '14.

I'll just leave this here. Nothing else need be discussed.

First downvote, belongs to me.

Jarvis Jones in 2012 was a damn force all season. Completely took over the Mizzou and UF games that year. Had 24 TFL, 14.5 sacks, and 7 forced fumbles

And bragging about mid-major bowl awards? Even TexAgs should be better than that.

Tyrann says, nice touchdown, oh wait

4 rec 78 yards 0 TD. in 2 games.

biggest myth in college football is that Norwood worked Tyrann.

It was insane.

That, alone, points out how great Cam Newton was when considering the talent around him and competition.

the defenses were amazing.

LSu was good, bama was good
MSU was even good.

What i really think people are forgetting was how good Demontre Moore was on that 2012 A&M team.

JFF was great, but Cam abused multiple multiple great defenses. It was freaky.
