West Virginia and Pitt is definitely a rivalry. I don't care to rank it, but they definitely hate each other.

FSU-Miami was more of a JJ and Booby rivalry. Or, The Longest Yard would have been more appropriate.

well yeah, it's definitely a rivalry. I'd have to sit down and think about potentially making it top 10, but I do know for good and damn sure it's not #1.

Outside of the Majors' years Pitt hasn't ever been able to fill up their own side of a stadium for a home game.

Pitt vs WVU is probably the most heated rivalry in the sport. I went to a game once as a neutral. I was actually worried about getting shot or stabbed.

No, that's just how it is when you go see a game at West Virginia vs. any opponent.

Bama vs Auburn

I can't take this rivalry seriously, especially compared to tOSU vs Mich. In 2013, I heard so many Bama fans say they wanted Aub to win the NC after the Kick 6 because "they are from Alabama" or "SEC". I have never seen a Michigan or tOSU fan cheer for the other team under any circumstance.

It's hard to put it over OSU/Michigan when it wasn't played for 40 years. That would never happen to OSU/Michigan

Pitt overachieving in that rivalry game pretty much put LSU in the 2007 title game. Seems light it to me.

but...but... navy has won the last 13 straight. Rivalry? Should that even still be played?

Alright Turds I updated the list to reflect our collective opinions. Maybe WVU vs PITT shouldn't have been that high but I was going off of pure hatred not relevance. Fight me

So bama/auburn has people kill people because they are not upset enough over the loss, yet doesnt come close to pitt/wvu

Is their rivalry keeping proper realignment of their conference from happening?

The OP is pathetic BTW.

but your only reference point is because you attended that game...how many of the others on the list have you been to? Because for you to put a game at #1 based on something you can't compare it to the other 9 on is....well it's just wrong.

Nah I agree that one should have been higher on the list. besides that's all stuff that's happened very recently, traditionally I never knew it to be that crazy.
