I particularly like who is dubbed WR U for a system that doesnt throw much but when they do the WRs get their chance to shine in one on one coverage. Seems to be paying off for GT.

In may have missed it in the article, but why did they use 2002 as the starting point? Seems kinda arbitrary.

Lol at LSU being bottom 3 in QBs

I laughed at the same thing.

Any date is going to be arbitrary, but I see no problem with using a 15 year window. That's somewhat reflective of the new style of play that's come into the league with Brady, Manning, Brees, etc.
With that said, I don't know how useful any of this is. A couple of outliers can completely skew the results.

I don't see Florida or LSU in the DBU section. Weird.

Agree, it would be pretty embarrassing to have a losing record to LSU during this time frame.

You're right. Was just curious if there was a specific reason. A 10 year window would provide a more concise look at current programs. Starting with the BCS era or at the turn of the century would provide a better picture for modern college football, IMO.

Meh...its just offseason stuff. For fans only really. Still pretty cool to see how it sort of proves some things. Like the fact that I saw LSU in the bottom 3 for QBs. I laughed but wasnt surprised.
On the other hand, I saw GT as top WR program and I was surprised but when you consider GT has put Calvin, D Thomas, D Waller, D Smelter, K. Cone and they have lasted a while each in the league I guess it makes sense. The only one that hasnt played for PJ in that list is Johnson. Pretty neat.

I think it would be more embarrassing to lose to a team that can't score a TD but that's just me

Alabama is in the list for WR as well, and that's solely because of Julio and Amari. Two great receivers, no doubt, but that's just two guys.
On the other hand, they aren't on the LB list despite having produced a lot of quality LBs in that time frame. DeMeco Ryans, Rolando McClain (when he was playing), Hightower, Mosley.
But you're right, it's ultimately just something to stir conversation during the offseason.

I love this kind of trash talk.

Would you rather lose 18-13 or 41-7? Because it's a 41-7 type of year this year

Auburn coming to BR with a new preseason Heisman favorite QB, where have I heard this before?
I do think you guys have a good shot to get your first win in Tiger Stadium this millenium.
