Top 5 SEC Matchups this season

LSU @ UF above Tennessee @ UGA. Both are interchangeable though. Just think UF might be more in contention for the east than UGA. On another note, I'm glad that the TSIO actually means something again. One of my favorite SEC rivalries. Wish Bama and UTk would go back to wearing their home colors against each other. That shite was pretty tight.

The problem with trying to pick the top matchups before the season is that a couple of them won't be that important by the time they roll around and over looked games will become vital.
Arguably the most important SEC game of last season was Arkansas knocking off Ole Miss (4/25) and opening the door for Bama to win the West and make the CFP.
No one would have predicted that would be a super important game before the season.
If I had to make a guess I'd put the Ole Miss and LSU vs Arkansas games up there. I don't think the Hogs win the West this year, but they could certainly derail the title hopes of another team down the stretch again.
I'd also pencil in Tennessee vs Florida. The Vols revival could come crashing down if they lose to the Gators again.

Agreed There are only so many you know will matter at the time they will be played and you can only go about 6 weeks into the season to find them.

LSU @ Auburn
A&M Vs Arkansas
Those are probably the most important 5 games of the first 5 weeks of the season.

An excellent point. Bama/Ole Miss and UF/Tennessee look to be the most important in terms of the title hunt, though Vols/Georgia could play a major factor as well. The Vols will be tested early this year.
Bert, meanwhile, really needs to knock off A&M. We recruit Texas heavily and the older (and richer) fans will be very disgruntled if the Hogs lose to an old SWC rival 5 years in a row. You want to keep those folks gruntled if you can.
LSU/Auburn is important for similar reasons in that Gus really needs to knock off a top SEC team this year to cool down his seat. If LSU stomps Auburn... well it could get ugly down on the plains.

I would strike Bama @ UT. UT might not survive the early stretch (UF, @ UGA, and @ A&M).

I agree with adding that game but you need to get rid of arky tamu instead of a game that could decide the west.
