Dude...you aren't good enough to have a heisman winner. You may have great players, but no one will pay attention because you are Arkansas.

With Etling as our QB combined with the inexperience/depth of our offensive line, I don't think Guice will be in contention. I hope I'm wrong.

I disagree. I think Allen has the best chance of any SEC qb.

Over Jaylon Hertz, Neck FitzArnold, Jarrod Statham, Jacoby Weaston, and Malk Zebra?

Even if we have just mediocre pass protection this year, I think we see a huge jump. It absolutely cannot get worse than last year.

Of which Allen put up similar/better numbers with easily the worst protection in the conference and probably some of the worst protection in the nation.

Yes, I think Allen is the best returning qb, Hurts needs to show improvement in accuracy, Fitz is close but not as accurate as Allen, Haven't seen Stidham play, and Auburn lost all credibility on preseason hype with Johnson. I can't even figure who the other two are

Allen was sacked 34 times last year. Jesus... I don't even want to know what the hurried numbers look like.

Lol no he doesn't. Unless he puts up Lamar Jackson type numbers and highlights. Hurts may not be the better QB but he plays on a much better team. I know the Heisman shouldn't be a team affiliated award but it kind of is some years. So no he doesn't have the best chance because Arkansas won't win enough nor is he scoring 55 TDs.

You don't have to convince me. I saw him throw for 400 yards and three td's against a good Bama defense, and take shot after shot and keep getting up. Allen was not the reason Arky lost.

If Allen is putting up stats worthy of a Heisman do you honestly think Arkansas will have a bad enough record? Arkansas finished 8-5 in 07 and McFadden still finished 2nd in Heisman voting.

My comment was regarding Allen's chances and I don't think he's going to put up crazy big numbers to overcome Arkansas 7-9 wins.

If Austin Allen is in the Heisman talk, it will mean he is lighting it up in the early games and he is getting some Oline protection.

He can win the Heisman if he leads to Hogs to a big season. That is what it would take. He just might do that.
