Uncle Lou putting South Carolina at #1 is reason enough to question his sanity. Most of our fans were either pissed at Tanner for the Muschamp hire or outright wanted him fired for the Muschamp hire.
As for this season, even the homers on our message boards aren't predicting anything more than 7-8 wins. He is so off base in his stereotypes it's comical.

We won 6 last year with absolutely nothing on offense the first half of the season and a defense with zero talent. It's not a stretch to think we beat UK (lost by 3) last year with Bentley as QB. If you think it makes us dumb because we think we can improve our record by a game or two you're as biased as Uncle Lou.

i only got to see Bentley for a half so I don't think much of him. Tennessee was the only team he beat that I can tell you a name of a player from the team. If y'all wouldn't have beat Tennessee nobody would be excited about him. I might have missed some crazy good plays he made or some good balls he threw but I believe McElwayne (so?) got a shitty deal and probably would have beat the same teams Bentley did. McElwayne might have got hurt or there might have been something I missed with him but he was suppose to be the savior of the program at one time and then all of a sudden y'all needed another savior to make you feel better about how shitty everything was looking with Muschamp so throw the coach's son in there when you are about to play UMass and Western Carolina. Just think all those ppl they have on the football staff at Scar are pieces of shite and bounce from school to school selling their bullshite

This is Clemson in a nutshell. You people honestly believe that your program doesn't do the same thing that every other major college football program in America does. This self righteousness and holier than thou bullshite is why everyone on this board hates y'all. Seriously, your head coach is a snake oil salesman who might as well be the ACC's version of Hugh Freeze, yet you criticize a staff for making a QB change that allowed us to win 6 games and go to a bowl game.
And for the record McElwain stunk last year. He had zero passing ability and his inability to pass negated his ability to effectively run the ball. We scored 13 points against Vandy, 20 against ECU, 10 against UK and 13 against A&M. None of us wanted to see him go, but he decided to leave when he saw the writing on the wall that Bentley was our guy. That happens all the time.
