Sammie doesn't deserve to be on this list. He had a terrible season outside of the alabama game and a couple of great catches in the 1st quarter against LSU.

They're idiots. Ezekiel Elliott is not in the top 250 college players in the nation? L-O-fricking-L!

Not in the top 25 running backs. Ridiculous.

I wouldn't. Sammie is a good receiver. I would put him around the 215 mark

Yeah, good WR. I think you guys forget how few 250 is. SEC WR's left off:

Bud Sasser(I think)
Demarcus Robinson
Jimmie Hunt
Vince Sanders
Speedy Noil
De'Runnya Wilson
Malcome Kennedy
Cody Core
Ricky Seals-Jones
Darius White

There are guys above that I'd take over Coates...and that is just from one conference.

Interesting. So either top ten or late second. That's an intriguing situation.

I probably would have left him off.

Finished #3 & #4 nationally in average yards per reception in 2013 & 2014.

I guess it's his fault Auburn finished in the 100s in pass attempts during those 2 years.

That was confusing one for sure. I think they put him right in the middle because of the limited sample. Hell of a sample size, but they rank these by an evaluation score of 1-100...they didn't start at 1 and just list 250 players.

I know, right? Can't believe they have him ranked ahead of Fournette.

Tunsil and Chubb should be way higher.
Leonard Floyd should not be on the list after the way he played this year.

Hands
Route Running
Release
Blocking
Speed
Run After Catch

Look at NFL WR rankings. Mike Wallace is arguably the best homerun hitting WR in the league, but is way down the rankings. Mainly because Tannehill sucks past 10 yards and Big Ben has a cannon. Sammy Coates is the exact same type of player, with the exact same QB problem.

How would you grade Coates on the first four?

Here is Travin Dural's(similar player) eval:

Hands: 22/25
Route Running: 16/20
Blocking: 3/5
Release: 18/20
Speed: 15/15
Run After Catch: 12/15
Overall: 86/100

I like Coates...even after him going Calvin Johnson on us. I just think you have to realize how small of a portion that is. There are a shite load of guys that will be NFL players that weren't on that list. It's tough.

This was the stat line for the last WR on the list:
101 1219 12.1 11

That's more catches, 500 less yards, 2 less TD's than Sammie had his whole career combined. The kid above is a sophomore.

Yeah, the only Ole Miss thing that truly baffled me was Cedric being above Laremy. Makes absolutely no sense. Just watch our OL with Tunsil(still ugly ) and without.

So Blake Sims made the list but not Cam Robinson?
