auburn's win over ksu is a bit underrated

underrated. they were favored by like 21 and kansas st limited their offense more so than anyone since probably LSU last season. Yes it was a road game, but Auburn was expected to and should have run all over them, yet they had their lowest rushing output since 2012. 128 yards rushing against a mediocre football team. Iowa St ran for 200+ on them the week prior. That was just not an impressive win IMO. They got the win, which is all that matters, but I doubt their coaching staff was encouraged by that performance.

I would switch 4 and 5 but otherwise agree. I think Ark would beat UF by 2 touchdowns.

fair enough critique of my opinion, but i still give credit to ksu and defer to snyder's "Mythic" status as a coach who gets a lot out of his players ... and the game was at ksu ... and auburn made a ton of mistakes, including several dropped passes, which happens from time to time ... but they gutted it out and made a big play on 3rd down late to generate some momentum and seal it ... we give too much credit, imo, to point spreads and recruiting ranks ... ksu was a good, tough test early on and could've resulted in a slip up ...

I wouldn't say anyones "big" OOC wins were impressive.
If I were to rank those, which would all be below AU over Ark would be:

1. UGA over Clemson
1a.SC over ECU
2. LSU over Wisconsin
3. Bama over WVU
4. Ole Miss over Boise (2nd half only)
5. AU over KSU

1. atm over SC (nobody saw that coming)

2. SC over uga (nobody saw that coming)

3. SC over #23 ECU (ECU could win the ACC)

4. Auburn over KSU (good road win against a ranked team and Belicheck method)

5. Uga over uga in the SC game (they beat themselves with prejudice, I've been told.)

You're being generous but I can get on board with it.

MSU is good but their victory came over a team that is really terrible.

I thought those games were excluded in the OP since they are obviously far and away the most impressive. My bad.

Will be in the discussion of the CFB at the end of the season with one loss.

vandy

Gave USCe a run for their money and would have won had they not been cheated. Beat the best UMass football team in history and lost to Temple only because they were playing 7th graders from a school close to the Vandy campus.

lafayette

Yeah HUD sucks.
