this is just personally my list but feel free to chime in.
I personally did not see any of these players coming and being in the top of the SEC
1) Serderius Bryant- LB Ole Miss
70 Tackles on 9 starts, 10.5 Tackles for Loss, 3 sacks
2) Sammie Coats- WR Auburn
38 Catches, 841 Yards, 7 Touchdowns
3) Mike Davis- RB South Carolina
1,134 Yards and 11 touchdowns, 32 Catches for 342 Yards
4) Leonard Floyd-LB Georgia
6.5 Sacks, 8.5 tackles for loss and 47 total tackles
5) Markus Golden-DT Missouri
13 Tackles for Loss, 6.5 sacks
6) Nick Marshall- QB Auburn
We all knew he would be pretty good, but not this good
1,759 passing yards and 12 touchdowns, 1,023 rushing yards 11 touchdowns
7) Solomon Patton- WR Florida
44 Catches, 556 yards and 6 touchdowns. 642 returning yards and a 1 touchdown
8) Dak Prescott-QB Mississippi State
1,657 Yards and 7 touchdowns. 751 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns
9) Greg Robinson-OT Auburn
hard to collect stats for an O-Lineman but he is an All-American, All-SEC and could be a first round pick if he leaves early
10) Cody Prewitt- DB Ole Miss
50 Tackles, 4 Tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles and 6 INTS
Most People thought Nick Marshall would be good, but not this good. He surprised most of us. Mike Davis had a big hole to fill when Lattimore left, and boy did he fill it. He immediately grabbed the attention of the SEC and did not lose it as he was a top RB all season. Auburn did not really know who would step up and be their leading receiver and Coats filled it in an amazing Auburn season. Cody prewitt had a good season last year, and preformed even better this year being voted to the All-American team and that hit on Jordan Matthews was spectacular.
Note* Cody Prewitt was a 2 star recruit from a 1A school in Rural Mississippi

I think serderius Bryant surprised a lot of people. started off as a reserve for Denzel, and then came up and played outstanding.

Michael Sam's #1 for me. He had 17 TFL and 9.5 sacks the previous three seasons and then 18 TFL and 10.5 sacks this year. He went from a solid role player to SEC Defensive POY.

0 Alabama players. Hard to surprise when everyone on the 2 Deep was a Mr. Football, All-American, 4 or 5 star.

I expected Marquez North to play well but Sutton was a 3* and the first true frosh at UT since Eric Berry to return a pick-six and his stats were off the charts.

Wish Dak had gotten a full season worth of starts and PT this year...

This is your "personal" list, huh?
It's the same as ESPN's SEC blog except for #10. Same order, too.

Kyle Christy's fall from best punter in the nation to getting benched shocked me the other way.

If Eddie Jackson could have gotten his behavior under control and bought into the system I feel like he could have made this list
