Can you imagine the ongoing story if Harvey didn't come out and say that stuff?
The trees would be dying and no one would know why. A test later would show that they were poisoned, but this would come out after AU went bowl-less so people would be wondering who the hell would do it then?
:lol;
Yeah, part of what makes the DB Cooper story so fascinating wasn't that he got away with it, it was that it was never solved who DB Cooper really was.
Ole Harvey had to get his 15 minutes of fame, too much Bama in him, had to be the pride of the fanbase...

Frick Updyke.....and the damage he did to the reputation of Bama's fans.....

They took a dramatic decline a few months after it happened, plus the trees were regularly monitored prior to this situation. It would have come out that they were poisoned whether the dumbass told everyone or not.

fan day and krystal burger did a nice slice of damage as well but harvey overshadows them

I thought the rumor was that Harvey was coming back to cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the new renovations.

so did yall have cameras on that intersection to see who did it if Updyke didn't admit it?

There are cameras, but they wouldn't have caught anything.

Just beyond my grasp.
Disturbed.
Disturbed.

Are we really sure that Auburn won't lose A Day?
Had to say that. But just so I'm not misunderstood, Harvey can rot in hell.

They should just set it on fire after the rolling.

This is pretty sad. Sorry Aubs

There are cameras, but they wouldn't help identify anyone. By monitored I meant soil samples were regularly taken to make sure they were doing alright.

I'm not defending teabagger either and hope that idiot is getting teabagged in his cell as we speak.
Both of these idiots make me sick. While I will acknowledge Bama has a huge sidewalk contingent, the fan base has for the most part acted with class and dignity over the years. I always felt Bama fans should hold themselves to a high standard given Bama's storied history and tradition. That may sound ridiculous to rival fans but I think most Bama fans would agree....and then these two losers come along and undid what it took years to build up.

Still think they should use the lumber to build commemorative plaques or really nice pen sets that Au fans and alumni could purchase. Gives them something permanent to keep and helps raise even more money to redo the corner.

And I'm not even an Auburn fan.
And yes, I know it doesn't reflect on Bama fans as a whole. I'm just commenting on the depravity of that one person

Although I feel bad about a nice tree dying, is "rolling" a tree really that cool? It sounds like Auburn needs better entertainment choices if that is a fun activity in that town.
