If the suggestion is that Collins would be a bust, you don't have to look much farther than Peterson to find a recent bust at DB.

eally, there's a very small part of the OP that is incorrect.
He referred to Landon being picked in the first round as "a cherry on top"
Landon has already been vindicated by the results on the field. Being selected in the first round would have only been an extra bit of sweetness.
Wrong. The most "incorrect" thing about the OP is the idea that Landon would have somehow been better or worse had he gone to a different school. That notion is fundamentally idiotic.
Landon Collins is a great player. Idk why he wasn't picked last night, but I doubt that would have changed much had he attended a different college.

Really?
2× First Team All-Pro (2011, 2013)
4× Pro Bowl (2011-2014)

He has been to 4 Pro Bowls in 4 years. Jesus you're more idiotic than the OP and I didn't think that was possible.

Maybe tonight will be his night...
Maybe.
Maybe.

He is the only player in NFL history with four punt-return touchdowns of at least 80 yards in a single season (rookie season at that).
Single handedly won 2 games for Arizona in his rookie season.
Only rookie to be selected to the 2011 All-Pro First Team.
Just his rookie stats. You can do the rest of the research if you'd like. This is good enough for #5 overall pick for me.

He's a top 10 DB in the fricking league and has been a Pro-Bowler every year he's been in the NFL.

He will probably always be able to get under our skin. Kinda like Joe McKnight. At least McKnight flamed out so we get the last laugh. I'm guessing it won't be so with Landon Collins. Like I said, he is a great player.

Take who? Landon? No way. They already have DBs that get torched on the reg.

We aren't the ones propping him up as the GOAT.

Like I said, I only read a couple of pages. Did some fans propose Collins is GOAT? I've never seen or heard that before, but maybe some posted it in this thread.
IMO he is not even close to best, in only the last eight years at Bama.
1. Rashad Johnson
2. Barron
3. Haha
4. Sunseri
5. Collins

A little preseason and some special teams until he got hurt in November.
