Preesh. Sorry I've never heard of the guy that turned y'all down.

Yet, it still sparked your inner bitch and you posted on the subject, anyway. Work on that.

He came pretty close to snagging Fournette. Luckily we didn't need him. When St. Aug starts producing again then you'll need to worry, Frank isn't there to bail you out this time

how obsessed are you with louisiana

Child please. I've followed recruiting since I was 10 years old. Right now Alabama is dominating the elite talent in your state. Joesph isn't going to make things any tougher on us, we pulled kids when Frank was there. We pulled kids when juluke was there. Your second choice WR coach (by the way, first choice was a St. Aug grad since, dismiss that all you want) isn't going to stop Alabama from cherry picking your state. Nick Saban has more respect from the high school coaches in Louisiana than any two coaches on your staff combined. You are our little bottom bitch for the foreseeable future, and if y'all aren't careful will be battling with Ole Miss and MSU for the independence bowl on a yearly basis, you have a clown running the show son, and his boss is a bigger clown. Sucks doesn't it?

You sure could have used him against Clemson

I wasn't aware that he was available for the bowl game

did he quit or was he held out? There seem to be conflicting stories depending on who you ask

Robinson is a homerun hire. Joseph doesn't seem much different than Jaluke
My thoughts exactly.

We don't need a dedicated "New Orleans" Recruiter taking up space on the staff. We need a great WR Coach that can develop and coach up the talent that is already here. Winning SEC and National Championships will bring in the New Orleans recruits.

LSU doesn't need another "Great Recruiter" like Craig that can't coach at this level.

BTW, I'd rather see Robinson coaching WR's because at least he's had experience in the NFL coaching them. Joseph was an option QB in HS and Nebraska; was basically a glorified RB. Let him coach RB's.

Yall think Saban hires assistant coaches based solely on them having contacts in Birmingham or Mobile? No, he hires them because they can coach and they get all the recruits they want because of all the SEC and NC's.

Nope, not thrilled with this "Miles Like" MJ hire. So many much more qualified coaches out there that would have been better at WR development. Orgeron had a great opportunity here and blew it.............

A downgrade considering the landscape in New Orleans

This statement made me realize you don't know the landscape of New Orleans. Mick is from Marrero, but coached in the 9th ward. Then played dad to some Katrina orphans in a katrina refugee camp.

Rubble, you seriously arguing that Mickey wont be able to recruit NOLA very well? People in New Orleans love that man, especially after all he did after Katrina.

Me being an outsider on the SEC rant I'd like to offer you some advice. Take a break... a real break... join a health club, take up golf, go on a very long drive, a secluded vacation, etc. Do any of the above and don't come back to this message board for a while.
You say you've followed recruiting since you were 10, well if you are not a coach or a sports personality, I'd say you've let it seep a little too far into your real world. Sports is for fun and a distraction, unless you've made it a way to provide for your family.... step away for a while...

The message brought to you by Dr. Phil....
