Your defense will be much improved on 1st and 2nd down, and through the first 3.5 quarters.

Bringing in Chavis doesn't mean you'll suddenly be better on defense against every SEC team. Chief's scheme has become infamous for being crap against power run and zone read teams.

Chavis won't let Sumlin do that. He wants the offense to control the tempo to keep his athletes off the field.

maybe it'll be slightly better, maybe it won't. our offense has just as good a chance as your defense does to be better.
however our defense has already proven itself. we got better as the season went along and finished in the top 10

Well you got LSU after a crushing defeat against Alabama and we were expecting snow :c
We had hot chocolate and comfy clothes out for a nice little football game while Arkansas was breaking bottles across their forehead in the locker room ready for war.

I didn't even think A&M's D played that bad in that game. I guess the stats don't show on the scoreboard.
Cameron installed jet sweeps and more zone read than ever before for that game so you can't really blame Sny_er for being unprepared.
Also, I was fully expecting for A&M to win the game on that last drive and I knew it would be Speedy who would catch a TD pass.

I think you need to go back and watch that game. We would have beaten them by 30 if not for the worst redzone offense in recent memory.

A lot of your projections will hinge on how much your qb has progressed. He def got better last year, but I think he would need to have much more improvement to avoid four losses.
