To the LSU fans that are sympathetic and understanding

Thank you for your thoughts and I would like to apologize for some of the things I said yesterday.
To the ones celebrating and/or even using what went on yesterday to talk shite today, you deserve everything bad that happens to you. You say nobody understands about these situations like LSU fans, fricking act like it. You can't imagine why myself or other Gamecock fans would be upset about the game possibly being moved? Especially on Monday before anything was even being discussed?
Come on guys.
Good luck to both teams Saturday. I was looking forward to seeing Buga demolish us in person, but this will have to do.

It's all good. I understand your frustrations.
But I did make my post late in the afternoon in the thread extending the olive branch before reading the first 15 or so pages.

I know this has probably been mentioned about 10000 times, but there's about 10 different threads all with a lot of pages so sorry.
Are they allowing LSu people to buy up tickets as if it was a regular LSU game? Are they treating the SC fans/ticket holders who have tix to any sort of restitution?
I guess what I'm asking is....is this essentially going to be the EXACT same as a regular LSU home game with SC as the visitor, or will there be ANY sort of differences that will kinda sorta somewhat make it seem a little different?

So do you still think LSU fans should choke on a dick or not?

It's a shitty situation. I think some fans could have handled it better. That goes for both sides.
I'm hoping this is done like LSU vs Arizona State in 2005 where all the profits are donated to the relief effort in SC.

Dude, I really hate that everyone is celebrating like its Christmas. I'm glad we got the game but it feels dirty. especially since Columbia is dealing with a lot more than football at the moment.

What LSU fans are celebrating what happened? Are we supposed to be mad about getting an extra home game?

I'm not going to do your homework for you. Just check out the first page of BayouBengal's thread.

They need to call off this game in Vegas. Makes me sick thinking people will make money off this.

as has been said, we've been there before. You can be upset but blaming LSU fans for wanting to know what to do about this coming weekend is and was over the top. You are free to take some fans actions as happy, but the majority feel for ya'll and we do understand.
Good luck with everything

I was very pissed in 2005 when LSU lost a OOC home game to ASU and had to play a home game at ASU instead
I was even more pissed in 2005 when the Saints played a home game at NY against the NYG when their fans were booing our team and acting like complete and utter trash while the Giants were running up the score on us all in the name of "fund raising"
I do not want to be one of those who think because something happened to us it is ok for it to happen to others
Personally I wish there was a better alternative however this is the one that the schools both agreed to and the conference approved
It is not fair to SC fans and no football should not come first in a time like this however the game does have to get played and there is no other open opportunities for a reschedule

While I hope all is well for those affected in South Carolina, do we really need the 55th pissing match thread on this? The ax grinding on this shite is tiresome.

A lot of people in that thread came across as know-it-alls, whatever their intentions were. Prayers to everyone in SC right now and to you for being one of my favorite posters on the Rant. Shake the hate off

yeah man it sucks for yall, but people just wanted to know what was going on. You seemed to blow this all out of proportion.

We really don't know all the details yet.
I'm sure SCAR will get a certain amount of dollars from ticket sales, concessions or whatever. They'll have their choice of uniform. I'm sure LSU will keep their home locker room.
