Marquis Maze is a far more better receiver than Julio is. That kid has made so many impressive catches, and I don't think I've yet to see him drop a pass. I can't stand how Julio receives all the hype, while Maze is ten times better.

Yeah they picked peterson because "they needed corners, not receivers".

Or maybe because they know Peterson could walk on to any of heir teams and make immediate impact.. A few SEC schools may not JJ break into a starting role.

He dropped a couple last year. But he has the speed to be a big play receiver. Hopefully Julio eliminates some drops and McElroy will see him when he's gotten open with the nearest defender about 10 yds away this year.

No this shite again frick. Look JJ and PP are both equally physically gifted they both have some work to do in certanin areas. Julio has a concentration problem and problems adjusting to the ball in the air. Peterson is overly agressive and can easily be beat by a pump fake or a double move.
They both will be combine freaks and have the possibility to be the best at their position.
LSU fans seem to forget that Julio schooled Peterson in 08 and Peterson was doing a good job in 09 until the cramps.
The score is 1-1
You all can bring any up receivers with better stats or CB's more polished with more picks, but it doesn't matter.
The eye ball test says these two will be best at their prospective postions like they were rated #1 and #1 coming out of high school.

bama fans refuse to show PP respect
I give PP plenty of respect. He's one of the top corners in college football. There's no denying that. I don't like his arrogance, but there's no disputing his ability.

Well I don't like your arrogance... But there is no dispute on your ability to give another teams players props.

I aint arrogant bro. I'm easy goin.

i dont think PP is arrogant.. at least, hes no Laron Landry.. even as a LSU fan, i hated that guy..
i think PPs style of play is a bit arrogant.. but i think he is coached that way..

Most great corners display arrogance on the field.

Don't know how I missed your post, but well said. It would be cool to see how those two interact at the combine, if they both leave after next year.

I would probably take Peterson, though both are huge game-changers.

LSU fans seem to remember Julio running away from Peterson in hopes he wouldn't guard him.

Peterson for sure....Julio isn't that great. Basically just a tight end with great publicity.
Looked to me like Peterson had him shut down the entire game this past year. The cramps were unfortunate and more than likely cost LSU the victory.

if he was wearing crimson you would think that arrogance is just fine.
